9. I Think My Water Broke

Since my argument with Aiden I've had a heavy feeling in my chest and I couldnt get rid of it. I only got upset because he didn't give Zane a chance instead he just listened to the rumours about him. But I still couldn't get rid of the heavy feeling in my chest.

So I had to call in reinforcements to make me feel better without voicing an opinion on the matter.

When I heard the door ring I ran down the stairs.

"Slow down will ya, you'll have a broken neck and I will not explain to your dad that his child is incapable of walking down the stairs like a human" I rolled my eyes at my Gramps. I walked over to him and gave him a kiss before turning to Liam who my grams let in.

I called Liam to come over so we can go to my favourite dessert place and drown our sorrows in ice cream. Liam has been my eating buddy since forever, I can always count on him whenever I want to eat.

"Let's get this pity party started" Liam grabbed my arm and we both headed out.

We spent the entire walk talking about stupid stuff whilst I clung onto his arm for warmth. Liam was like a big soft teddy despite having a built physique.

We walked in and sat down in our tiny regular booth. I looked around awkwardly as Liam went to order. I never know what to do when I'm sitting alone like do I stare at Liam order or look at other people. I would pull out my phone but it was in my pocket and I couldn't be bothered to reach in and take it out. My level of laziness reaches a new high everyday, just when you thought I couldn't get any lazier I top it off.

"I cannot wait to stuff my face with a chocolate warm waffle," Liam laughed as he sat down opposite me.

"Mmmh this tastes so good, it almost makes me feel less sad" I saw Liam roll his eyes at me as he finished off his waffle and started to drink his milkshake.

"So are we going to talk about why you and Aiden both are acting as if someone killed your cat"

"Ughhh can we not. I'm trying to eat here in peace" Liam gave me a flat look. I groaned, if there was one thing you should know about Liam is that he is very good at getting you to talk whether you like it or not.

"When I invited you to eat with me, I did it so there was no discussion about the little interaction between me and Aiden"

"Well from what I heard I have to say I'm with Aiden on this one"

"Ughhh what the hell, I thought we were eating buddies. Where's your loyalty"

"Sorry Saph it's always bro's before hoe's." My mouth dropped when I heard what he called me. Liam on the other hand found it quite amusing.

"All I'm saying is be careful, Aiden isn't wrong for worrying about you. We care about you, which is why he probably acted out."

"Well you don't have to worry about me. I'm old enough to make my own decisions. But I appreciate you looking out for me."

Why did Aiden have to get bitter instead of telling me straight up like Liam.

Liam and I walked back to my house as it was getting quite late. I enjoyed the walk back, we both acted like fools on the street. It was probably the sugar rush because one minute we were walking and the next we were daring each other to yell stupid words. We got many looks which just encouraged us to act more stupid.
