uneditedWith slouched shoulders, Donghyuck muttered an okay. He bid goodbye to his superior, and as the the line faltered to a silence he ended the call. Sighing heavily, he dropped his hand from his ear to his side. He walked back towards his table, an indifferent expression hanging onto his face.
"What's up?" Rinyoung asked. She gazed up at him expectantly with her large orbs.
"We have to go home immediately." He answered, beginning to take out his wallet from his back pocket. He rummaged through the leather, pulling out a couple of large bills.
Seeing the large amount, the female instantly stood.
"We can split it!" She exclaimed, her hands rummaging through her purse for her card. She felt bad enough. But her hand movements were quickly stopped by the boy's grip on her wrist.
"Don't worry, this is my fight earnings." He informed, placing the money onto the table. He placed his walk back into his pocket before offering a hand to her.
With a distraught expression, she reluctantly took it. With his help, she stood on her heels steadily. "Do you know why we have to go so early?" She mumbled, as they hurried out of the dining area and to the front, where they sent a staff worker to fetch their car.
Feeling the disappointment clench at his heart, he knew she wanted to stay longer. He dipped his head lower to her, placing a quick and small peck to her hair. He didn't know what came over him at that moment, but it felt necessary to do so. "I know it sucks, but it sounded important," he replied lowly, "I'll make it up to you later, okay?"
Simultaneously, he sadness had diminished, but her heart continued to pound against her ribcage. The butterflies in her stomach awoken and began to flutter around, making her feel even more euphoric.
A lopsided smile etched itself onto her face. "Okay." She nodded, briefly staring into his chocolate orbs before turning to the front.
After a few moments of comfortable silence, their car had finally arrived. Donghyuck had opened her car door and helped her inside, as the valet exited the car and went back to his station. The male nodded in thanks, before jogging to the drivers seat and slipping in. Immediately after he had entered the vehicle, he started the engine and speeded out of the area.
They speeded down the city streets and turned multiple roads before finally coming onto their neighborhood street. The car's tires slowed to a stop in front of the large home, Taeyong's message sounded to urgent to have Donghyuck take his time to park in the garage, so he had just pulled up in front of the door.
Rapidly, he hopped out of the vehicle and rushed to Rinyoung's side, where she had already begun getting out of. "You could've waited for me." He grumbled, still proceeding to help her out, though she had proven she didn't need it.
"You don't need to do that all the time!" The raven-haired girl whined, her pink lips sticking out in a pout.
"Quit complaining, we gotta go in." He teased, sticking his tongue out before turning forward and dragging her to the door. He quickly opened the door and hurried in, throwing his keys to the bowl on top of the door side table, and kicking his shoes off. He helped Rinyoung with the straps of her heels, and taking it off of her, before jogging to the kitchen where they had guessed the boys were.
They bursted through the kitchen doors, seeing all of the older members of the 127 unit sat at the dining table. "What's going on?" Donghyuck asked, exasperated from all of their serious expressions.
"Have a seat." Taeyong motioned towards the two chairs in front of him.
Hesitantly the pair did as they were told, all eyes glued to their slow movements.
"Are you drunk?" Taeyong asked, eyes narrowed from the heavy expression that lingered on his facial features.
"No," they answered.
"Good, because you want to be sober for this."
any guesses??
