— BLUSH
unedited"This is bullshit," Donghyuck growled, his shoulders heaved up and down— his breathing shallow and ragged.
Out of pure anger, he threw a punch at the wall— reeling out a crack from both ends.
Taeyong immediately shook his head, trailing over to him. "I really need to make the wall steel or something," He muttered, grasping tightly onto the boy's back collar, tugging on it roughly to pull him away from the damage. "This is the sixth time we're gonna have to fix this wall."
"Why are you stopping him?" Johnny asked, dragging Donghyuck away from the other Lee. "If he wants to punch a wall let him,"
"He has no reason to," The seriousness in his voice silenced the men.
The Suh begged to differ. He scoffed— wrapping a secure arm around the younger as he argued back. "You really think her leaving him like that is not a reason to be mad?"
"Johnny, she had Bitan injected into her," Taeyong interjected. "I saw the blue spill in the bandaid bandage she had,"
"That could be anything," Donghyuck tsked, shoving Johnny's arm off him— having enough as he just wanted to be with Hyun woo right now.
"You really think I can't recognize that blue stain." The older's voice raised loudly— stilling the air and causing everyone to tense up at the sudden uproar. "I inject that into myself every damn day to continue living," He raised his left sleeve of his shirt— revealing the same bandaid sight he saw.
"I think I can recognize someone who had been injected with Bitan,"
Donghyuck turned on his feet— his brows furrowed in confusion.
"Think about it," Taeyong turned to the others to convince them as well. "You hadn't experienced any moment for over twenty four hours which is impossible, and you couldn't communicate with her,"
"That's why there was no spark in her eyes when staring at you,"
. . .
"Miss, wake up. Your make up is done," The artist shook Rinyoung slightly— the girl in the chair slowly lifting her eyelids to meet her dolled up reflection.
She could see how the woman so desperately tried to hide the younger's eye bags and puffy eyes.
Rinyoung leaned forward, not use to herself with makeup anymore as she found no need to do it around Donghyuck.
It was early in the morning, and the young adult was sat at her make shift vanity, applying whatever make up she had left.
For the past two months she's been waking up early to cover any imperfections on her face. Although she knew that Donghyuck didn't look at her as much as she would like, she felt insecure just thinking of scenarios if he did.
Sliding a bit of lip gloss on her lips, she moved the wand gently across the flesh before returning it to the cosmetic tube.
Just as she set it down and picked up her blush palette, the door opened.
The tanned male that had been stuck on her mind appeared in her doorframe. He munched on an apple, his hairy messy and his figure adorned in his usual sleep ware which was a pair of sweatpants and occasionally a shirt. But it seemed that that morning he didn't feel like having a top on.
"What are you doing?" He asked, trailing forward towards her desk.
"Uh, just my make up," Rinyoung muttered in reply, continuing to apply blush to her cheeks.
"Why?"
"What do you mean why? I need to cover my acne, my eye bags, my—" She ranted, though she was cut off as Donghyuck quickly but down on his apple— holding it in place as he used both hands to look for something. They roamed around until they landed on the object.
He peeled open the package, and took out a facial wipe.
The tanned male began to wipe bits of concealer on her face, revealing her true skin. All while this happened, Rinyoung sat in shock.
He was just an inch away, and his eyes didn't leave her— concentrating on proving his point.
After wiping off most of her make up, he threw away the cloth and turned her towards the mirror.
"I think you look better this way," He mumbled- his apple now held in his free hand. "Plus I get to see you blush, and not the pigment,"
"Miss, are you okay?" The artist asked again— reeling Rinyoung out of her memory.
The younger shook her head— clearing her mind. "Yeah, I'm just tired," She waved the woman off, "I'm gonna get changed," As she pushed her aching body off the chair, an additional head popped into the room. She saw them through the reflection, her brows furrowed at the sudden presence.
"Your brother wanted me to inform you that the press had arrived to receive your statement about coming back to the company."
Rinyoung held her tongue, and forced down her words— turning to just nod briefly before carrying on to change.
"I'll be outside if you need anything, Miss Im,"
