"This is Hyun woo," Rinyoung spoke softly as she lovingly rubbed the child's back in comfort-- knowing how much emotions and thoughts could be overwhelming his tiny being. She watched as the father and son took in each other's appearances,

Hyun woo's big doe eyes scanned up and down Donghyuck's body, tracing over the black suit that had gotten wrinkles from the older's constant movements. He gazed at his father's golden tanned skin before glancing down at his own arms and hands.

As the little boy pieced together their similarities, Donghyuck couldn't help but, feel his heart tremble as his dark orbs shook. Everything about the small kid was like him-- his eyes, the way his mouth hung into an open smile, his skin, his bubbly personality that the older had when he was his age. At that moment everything felt surreal. He had a son, finally, someone to call his own. Someone that maybe wouldn't leave him.

The male crouched down, his vision meeting the boy's. "Hey, buddy," Donghyuck greeted in a soft, yet cheerful voice. A relaxed and affectionate smile graced his lips, which was seemingly contagious as both Rinyoung and Hyun woo did the same. "I'm your dad-- oh well you can call me Hyuck if you're not comfortable with it, or actually whatever name you want," He rambled, going off on a tangent as his nerves got the best of him. But his words faltered to silence when Hyun woo pushed himself off the couch to stand in front of the older.

The child directly pooled his orbs into his father's as his tiny lips parted. "D-Dad, Dad, Dad." He repeated the simple yet impactful word, trying it out-- and as he kept saying it in front of the man he had been waiting to meet for all his life, it became natural.

Something washed over Donghyuck and suffocated him. His heart clenched and gradually grew warmer and more full as he saw the way constellations twinkled in Hyun woo's eyes. He couldn't hold back any longer. He quickly fell on his bottom, sitting down with his legs spread open as he wrapped his lengthy arms around the small child. His arms circled his son's waist-- drawing him closer as Donghyuck buried his face in the boy's tiny chest.

Hyun woo naturally wrapped his arms around his father's head, and exactly as he did, Donghyuck's shoulders trembled. His salty tears dampened the child's dino shirt, as breathless noises emitted from his shaking body.

Rinyoung's mouth fell open from momentary shock-- it being the first time she saw her soulmate like this. The woman got on her knees and crawled to the pair. Instinctively, she lifted her hand and layered it over his head of hair. She weaved her slender fingers through his brown locks, trying her best to provide the male with comfort as she felt her own heart painfully clench in her chest.

"Hyun woo-ah, tell your dad to stop crying, he's getting snot all over your dino shirt," Rinyoung mumbled as her eyes stayed glued to Donghyuck's shaking figure.

The child followed Rinyoung's actions, playing with his father's hair-- his lively giggle filling the whole room with joy. "Why is daddy crying?"

"He just loves you so, so, so much," In a mere murmur, she answered. The raven-haired girl leaned her face close to Donghyuck's ear, where she whispered sweet nothings in hopes of calming him down. "Everything's gonna be alright." Rinyoung pressed a delicate kiss to the side of his head, eyes closed shut.

When she drew back a few inches in distance, Donghyuck turned his face to her, his head still cuddled into his son's shirt. His nose and eyes were red, as hot tears still slowly poured from his big eyes.

They continued to stare at one another, locked in a trance, as it felt like it was only them in the world.

"Come on, Hyun, let's leave your Dad and Rinyoung to talk," Jaehyun appeared with Johnny and Jungwoo at his sides. Johnny wore a tiny bear backpack over his right shoulder, as another carried a tote. The three were all dressed in casual clothing, ready to go out.

"We're gonna go to Lotte," Jungwoo exclaimed, as he raised his hands in the air to exaggerate his excitement.

"Be good, okay, and stay safe," Donghyuck sniffled, releasing Hyun woo from his grips, allowing him to be picked up by Jaehyun. Immediately, both Rin and Hyuck stood to their feet. Donghyuck's hands quickly rubbed against his nose and eyes to rid of the previous few minutes of crying-- clearing his throat of the rawness. "I swear if anything happens,"

Johnny cut him off, waving his hand dismissively. "Don't worry, daddy bear. We got the cub, you have a lot to discuss,"

"We'll be back before dinner!" Jungwoo yelled, as they began to make their way to the front door to leave-- Hyun woo excitedly babbling their ears off about anything and everything.

It was until the pair heard the door shut, they turned to each other.
