The realtor's lips curved up into a sympathetic smile.

Even a fool would know how much it saddened the poor girl. From the way her eyes practically held desperation in its dark abyss or how her smile drooped on one end— making her grin lopsided, everything about her screamed the emotions she had buried in her heart.

Oh how she wished Hyun woo was her own.

Rinyoung always wanted a family— a large one with many children. She's always found those multi-membered families endearing.

As a child, she would longingly look in their direction— even after the multiple scoldings that she was told about staring being disrespectful, but oh how little rinyoung couldn't help it. She imagined herself a part of their household.

The home always being lit with laughter and the bright personalities that overflowed from the many bodies occupying the house.

Before bed the young girl would stare up at her ceiling— way beyond her bedtime— and just wonder.

She picture herself running down the large hallways of her home, her small fingers tracing over the multiple doors as she raced down the corridor, but unlike reality, they wouldn't stay glued shut.

The wooden frames would open and reveal many more children of various ages from 18 to the littlest of 3.

The kids would all happily come out into the hallway— voices laced in joy as they called out her name. "Rinyoung!" They'd repeat like a chant luring the small girl until the loads of fun they planned for the day.

Then they'd all travel down the stairs together. The older children talking casually and allowing their laughs to echo throughout the large mansion.

Wildly, the younger siblings would race down the stairs all shouting, "I'm gonna win!" "I'm gonna beat you!"— Rinyoung being entangled with their antics as she made it to the last step.

And as always, like the clumsy little girl she was, she'd fall.

Rinyoung fell to her knees, her hands placed in front of her to hold herself up.

Then she'd slowly look up, wondering why no one was helping her.

At that moment, all children ceased existence. Their figures vanished into thin air, their voices faltering to mere whispers of the light morning breeze.

Like every other fall or slip up, she picked herself up and dusted off her pajamas. Her eyes anxiously darted around the room— her heart dangerously pounding against her ribcage from her panic.

She looked up the stairs seeing a glimpse of the hallway where the lights were dimmed and the doors stayed shut.

The little raven haired girl felt her cries well in her throat as tears fluidly fell down her porcelain face.

Her vivid imagination had a thing for breaking her heart, and it seemed like her old ways didn't die as she had hoped.

"Hey," Donghyuck gently touched her shoulder with his left hand, his right holding up Hyun woo on his hip. He had awoken her from her thoughts, making her heart race from the sudden reality check.

Rinyoung blinked her eyes furiously to rid of the oncoming tears that began to prick her eyes.  She turned to him, immediately forcing a smile to her lips.

"Yes?" She asked, orbs shaking as they moved rapidly to search his. She wondered if he saw the melancholy beads that were at her edge.

"How do you like the apartment?" He replied, an eyebrow raised in sudden suspicion from her voice being the slightest off.

"It's great,"

"It's great,"
