The youngest Im wore a floral knee length dress paired with nude heels. They clicked against the tiled flooring, echoing throughout the university's hall. Students created a path for her, allowing Rinyoung to walk forward without any concern for others. Her head was held high, confidence oozing off her body catching the attention of all.
She was finally of age. 20 years old.
Today was nerve-wracking for the young adult as she would be bonded forever with another. She feared that her and her soulmate would touch unknowingly and she'd die from the lack of their touch, but the negative thoughts diminished when a sense of happiness welled inside her heart.
But it wasn't her happiness, it was his. She experienced her first ever soulmate moment, a memory she'll cherish forever. It brightened her day further knowing that her soulmate was starting the day off heartily.
Walking over to the university's cafe, she pushed the glass door open, hearing the bell above chime loudly. The workers briefly greeted her before carrying onto their tasks. Rinyoung trailed over to a table in the far corner, isolated from everyone else. She placed her book bag on the seat across before sitting down herself, a menu placed readily on the table.
The girl silently picked up the laminated paper, her eyes scanning the various breakfast items. The serene and peaceful environment of the cafe soothes her nerves, calming her rapidly beating heart. Gazing over the breakfast sandwich section, two boys crept over to her table, quietly slipping into the spare seats at her sides. Sensing their presence, she lowered her menu, an uninterested expression drawn on her features.
"Yes?" She patiently waited for their response. The two boy's hesitantly glanced at one another, speaking with their eyes.
"Happy birthday!" Chenle exclaimed, throwing his hands in the air joyfully. Jisung followed suit, greeting her as well.
"Thank you." A small smile graced her cherry lips, eyes gleaming as she did.
"What are you doing today?" Chenle interrogated, causing a heavy scowl to blanket Rinyoung's facial features.
"And why are you so curious about my agenda, Mr.Zhong?" Placing the laminated paper down on the table, she folded her hands together, settling them on her lap as she turned to look at the Chinese.
"Uh well you see—"
"We think we know who your soulmate is." Jisung blurted our before clasping his large hands to his lips, sealing them from saying anything further. The older boy whipped his head in the younger's direction, a menacing glare burning at Jisung's pale skin.
"My soulmate?" Curious, the girl reaches forward, bringing Jisung's hands down. "Who is he?" The Park visibly gulped, his Adam's apple bobbing as he did so. He briefly glanced at Chenle who only nodded his head, giving up on being secretive.
"Lee Donghyuck."
