The rain clattered against the windows as the weather was a storm outside.

You lay in bed next to your boyfriend, Zayn, who was sleeping, while you were terrified.

You whimpered as the thunder boomed outside, loudly as you curled into Zayns side, trying not to wake him up but trying to gain some comfort.

He was on his side facing you as you tried to calm yourself down.

"Baby? What's wrong?" Zayn spoke, his voice croaky and husky.

"It's just, I'm scared of thunder." You told him.

"Aw, come here boo," he cooed, wrapping his arms around your waist and pulling you closer to him as you cuddled into him placing your head on his chest.

He rubbed your back as you relaxed in his embrace.

"It's okay, shh, I'm here, try and relax and know that your in my arms and that your safe." He whispered, soothingly.

"Okay," you breathed, calming down.

He pulled you tighter into him as he rubbed your back soothingly.

"I love you baby, you mean so much to me and I hate it when your sick, upset, in pain or scared. I just want you to be happy." He said, sincerely.

"Zayn, I'm fine. I love you too. I just need your cuddles." You said, cuddling closer to him and leaning up to kiss his lips lightly.

"I can give you cuddles. I love your cuddles." Zayn mumbled, before placing a gentle kiss to your forehead.

"You can use my chest as your pillow and cuddle as close to me as you need to and don't worry about waking me up. You help me when were in the water and I get scared so I understand what it's like to be scared and I know how much of a comfort it is to have someone to understand and be there for you." Zayn told me, genuinely.

"Thank you. I'm here for you too. I love you Zayn." You told him, happy that you had someone like Zayn.

"I know you are as am I for you baby girl. I love you too." He said, holding you tightly in his embrace as you felt safe and secure.
