Like I Can Part 2 - Liam Imagine.

"You love me?" I asked.

"Just forget I ever said anything, you've never noticed before so why bring it up now," he shrugged, avoiding my gaze.

"But you did bring it up Liam and now I want to talk about it," I told him, my heart beating faster at the thought that we could be more than friends.

"We don't need to talk about much, I love you more than a friend and more than any man can, but you don't see that and you don't feel the same way and it's alright. I just hope we can still be friends." He sighed, standing up to leave.

"No Liam, that's where your wrong." I said sternly, making him turn around, looking at me confused.

"I do love you. I love you more than you could ever love me and you were the one who didn't notice. I sent many hints and when you've had girlfriends before I've always declined coming to hang out with the both of you because it would hurt too much." I explained, my eyes welling in tears at the amount of times I had cried because I never thought I stood a chance.

"I'm not good enough for you Liam, so why would you even declare such a strong thing as love to me," I added, taking a deep breath.

Liam looked at me intently for a few minutes before his lips began to change from a frown to a smile.

"Of course I love you, it's a strong word but it's all for you." He said, sincerely.

"Would you dump your boyfriend for me?" He asked, raising one eyebrow at me.

"It depends what your saying," I smiled, blushing.

"I'm saying I'd like us to try and have a relationship because I'd like to be with you. I'm saying I could make you happy, but most importantly, I'm saying I love you." He smiled and bit his lip nervously.

"What are you saying?" He asked.

"I'm saying I'd like to be with you too and that I love you too," I said genuinely as I stepped closer to him and his wrapped his arms around me.

"Are you going to dump your boyfriend then?" He asked and I nodded, picking up my phone only to see a text from him.

I looked at Liam and smiled, "it looks like I don't need to." I said, showing him my phone where I had a text message from my now ex boyfriend saying how we wouldn't work out.

"See I was right, he will never love you like I can and he doesn't love you like I do now." He said, leaning down to kiss me passionately.

"Did you feel anything?" I asked after I pulled away from the kiss.

"Yeah and I also felt a lot of butterflies." Liam admitted sheepishly.

"Me too." I smiled.
