Lost but Found ~ Liam Imagine.

"Where is it? I can't find it." You said, frantically as you pulled yours and Liam's clothes from your shared chest of drawers.

"Do you remember where you last took it off?" Your best friend asked.

You had taken your engagement ring off to have a shower and when you went to put it back on you couldn't find it.

"No, I'm not sure now. I'm not sure where it could be." You sighed.

"I think your going to have to tell him." Your best friend said.

"No, I can't. He would be so hurt, we've only just got engaged and it was slightly too big so it could have fallen off." You told her.

"Calm down, I'm sure you'll find it, but it's late and Liam will be home soon. Your going to have to tell him." She told you.

"No, not until I've found it. Not until then." You argued.

"Hey babe." You heard Liam's voice as the door shut.

"Good luck." Your best friend said as she walked towards the door.

You quickly pulled on a sweatshirt, covering your hands with it.

"Hey babe," you heard as you looked up to see Liam walking towards you.

You pulled down your sweatshirt further, hoping that he wouldn't notice.

"Why are all of our clothes on the floor?" Liam asked, laughing slightly.

"Have you lost something?"

"No, it's nothing. It's fine anyway what do you want for dinner?" You asked, changing the subject as you folded yours and Liam's clothes and placed them back into the draws.

"I don't mind, pizza?" He suggested and you nodded as Liam looked up at you with a smirk.

"What?" You asked.

"I know you've lost something. I know it for a fact." Liam laughed slightly.

"What do you mean?" You questioned.

"You can't find your ring can you?" He asked as you looked at him surprised.

"I'm sorry. I should've told you I know but h-how did you know?"

"Because I'm the one that took it." He stated and you looked at him confused.

"You took it? But why? I have been looking for that ring all day, it has been my number one priority and I was panicking in case I couldn't find it and would have to tell you."

"I took it while you were having a shower because you said it was too big so I went and got your right size. I knew it was one or the other and I wanted it to be right for you." He explained, sitting down on your shared bed.

"You could've told me." You scoffed.

"I know, I'm sorry. I should've told you but I didn't realise it would take so long and I didn't realise I'd be called into the studio afterwards because I was planning on coming straight home and giving it to you." He said.

You sat down next to him on the bed and sighed.

"Li, why do you do this to me?" You groaned and he laughed.

"Because I love you and I wanted it to be the best for you and for us."

"I love you." You sighed as he wrapped his arms around you.

"You shouldn't have been worried to tell me, I would've tried to understand and I would've helped you look for it. That is if you had lost it." He said.

"I know, I didn't want you to be upset because I'd lost the ring."

"I wouldn't have been. I would've helped you. Were engaged to be married, were supposed to share everything together and work through things together."

"I know and I'm sorry."

"It's alright. I love you." He said, taking the box out of his pocket and taking the ring out.

"Here you go." He smiled, placing it onto your ring finger.

"Thank you." You smiled back, glad that you had your ring back.
