Water Rapids - Zayn Imagine

"That was amazing!" I exclaimed after coming off the water rapids on holiday.

Zayn had a little time off before tour started again and wanted us to go on holiday for a week, which just happened to have water rapids, which was like a current that pulled you along in the water.

"I'm glad you liked it." Zayn smiled after waiting for me to come off of it.

"Zayn, instead of just chilling in this pool will you please come on the water rapids with me?" I asked.

"Y/N, you know I'm not a good swimmer." He pouted.

"Zayn, you know I would never ask you to go on anything with me if I knew for a fact you wouldn't like it." I said, emphasising the words 'knew for a fact'.

"I don't know Y/N, I mean it doesn't look that bad but I really don't know." He admitted, shaking his head causing water droplets to fall from his hair.

"Zayn, you will enjoy it, you don't go underwater at the end or anything." I reassured him, smiling.

He hesitated. "Okay, Y/N. I trust you."

"Yay! I'll take care of you, don't worry babe." I smiled, taking his hand as we swam over to the water rapids.

I looked at him and could tell he was nervous. "You'll be okay, I'll take care of you, you'll be fine." I smiled, squeezing his hand.

"Keep hold of my hand the entire time, yeah?" He asked, just before we went on them together.

"I'll try." I said just as we went on the water rapids.

We headed down and everyone was banging into each other causing me and Zayn to laugh.

Soon I felt Zayns hand slipping from mine as he laughed, the currents pulling us along at a casual pace before we came to a small plunge.

"That was fun!" Zayn laughed.

"It's not over yet." I told him and he looked slightly worried.

"Does it get worse?" He asked.

"No babe, it actually gets better, there's a slide here and you might get stuck at the bottom, but that's the fun part!" I explained, taking his hand in mine again.

Zayn hesitated. "Okay, just because I trust you, I'm going to try not to worry about it." He said, taking a deep breath as we headed down the slide.

"Ahh! Y/N!" Zayn yelled, laughing afterwards after he'd got caught in one of the rapids, as my hand slipped from his once again.

I was carried away from Zayn, laughing and grabbing onto the side before going down the next slide in order to wait for Zayn.

"Y/N! I can't move!" He shouted, laughing.

"Your gonna have to try because I can't come back!" I shouted back.

Just then, Zayn came shooting through the rapids, knocking me down the next slide along with him.

"I see you got unstuck." I laughed.

"I was trying my best to move but it just kept pulling me back and then when I did get free it went so fast I didn't know what was happening!" He exclaimed and I grabbed his hand taking him down the second to last slide.

"Don't let go of my hand this time!" Zayn said, playfully.

"That's why I said I'll try, it's so hard when your being pulled!" I smiled.

We went down the last slide, laughing.

"I want to go on it again!" Zayn exclaimed.

"Me too! I knew you'd like it."

From then on the rest of our holiday consisted of going on the water rapids with Zayn constantly thanking me for getting him to go on.
