𝘾𝙡𝙖𝙞𝙧𝙚'𝙨

Kayoko was getting her ears pierced today.

Ever since she got the earrings for her birthday, all she would do was dangle them in front of you or Katsuki to show she wanted to put them on. And since she had been doing it the past week, you both figured it was time to pierce them.

So you were going on a trip to the mall. Claire's, to be exact. Kayoko was excited, but you and Katsuki were worried. Mainly because they were going to use a piercing gun and stab an earring into her ear. And knowing Kayoko, she was going to start crying. But hopefully, she would be calmed down immediately and be happy afterward.

Katsuki pulled up and parked, and you all got out. "Look, mommy." Kayoko held up the toy Woody that Izuku had gotten her and pulled the string on the back. "There's a snake in my boot!" She said with the toy. "That's cool baby. Ready to get your ears pierced?" She nodded and rested her head on your shoulder.

"You sure you wanna carry her?" "Katsuki she's a three-year-old. I think I can handle it." You playfully laughed as the three of you went into the mall. Kayoko babbled to you as she looked around the mall. She was a fan of public places, but the mall was her favorite. Seeing all the stores and people was such a fun thing for her.

The three of you got to Claire's, and an employee walked up to you. "Hi, welcome to Claire's! What can I do for you today?" "Hi. We were looking to get this little one's ears pierced." Kayoko giggled as you lightly bounced her on your hip, giving the employee a giddy "Hello!" and a smile. The employee, named Chiyo, explained the process and sat Kayoko down in the chair.

"You ready Kayoko?" She nodded and smiled, but that all went away when Chiyo aligned the piercing gun with her ear and shot it. After that, she started to cry. And she cried hard. Katsuki was so tempted to pick her up and get her out of there, grabbing your hand and tapping his finger against the back of your palm to stop himself from doing so.

Kayoko started to calm down, but then her other ear got pierced and the crying started all over again. When Chiyo was done Katsuki picked Kayoko up and started to softly bounce her. "It hurt Daddy!" "I know baby I know." He tried to calm her down as Chiyo explained cleaning her ears and all the steps to take to make sure her ears didn't get infected.

After all of that, you paid and then left the store. But you only got a couple of steps until you heard a voice asking you to wait. You and Katsuki turned around to see a little girl running towards you. "Your daughter dropped this." She said as she held up the little Woody. "Oh, thank you." You smiled as you took it from her.

"Kayoko look." She looked up and grabbed Woody from you. "What do you say?" Kayoko looked down at the girl and wiped her eyes. "Thank you." She said with a small hiccup before putting her head back on Katsuki's shoulder. The little girl said "You're welcome!" before going back to her mother.

"Well wasn't that nice of her." Your eyes looked at Katsuki, but he was focused on Kayoko. "She'll be fine Kat, she's just in a little pain." You lightly rubbed her cheek as she let out a little yawn. "For being a big girl and getting your ears pierced, you get a cookie! Wanna go get a cookie?" She nodded, getting happy at the fact she was going to get a cookie now.

You found a table to sit at while Katsuki got Kayoko's cookie and other foods. Usually, you'd make her eat first, but she was sad so she got to eat her cookie first. "You want to see your earrings?" You handed her your phone with Snapchat opened and she looked at herself.

In Kayoko's mind, she thought you wanted her to take a picture. So she found a filter that she liked and took a picture. She very much still had tears on her face and in her eyes, and the cookie sticking out her mouth really topped the photo. She handed you the phone back, and you couldn't help but snicker at the picture. Sometimes it was a blessing Mina taught her how to use Snapchat.

"Kat look at her." You showed him the picture and he snickered at it. "Send me that." Once he got it you watched as he set it as his phone background. "Really?" "Babe she looks too adorable. She even looks cute now!" You both looked over at her sadly eating her cookie. It was really adorable, so you both took a picture of her. She noticed and started to sadly smile and pose.

Man, Kayoko was really something.
