Katsuki had gotten into an accident.

What started as a robbery ended with Katsuki getting shot three times. Once in the leg, and twice in his abdomen. They missed all the important stuff, but he still had to go into surgery to get them removed.

The first thing you did was cry. You cried for an hour thinking about how Katsuki was just hurt and might not make it here. They had to give you something you calm you down because you were starting to have a panic attack and they didn't want anything to happen to Mochi.

After that, you slept. It was mainly because the crying had worn you out along with whatever they gave you. It was only for about 10 minutes at a time though, because the contractions would come back and they would wake you up. It made you feel worse because Katsuki wasn't there to hold your hand and give you words of encouragement.

Two days had passed since you first arrived, and there was still no word on Katsuki. You'd vomited from the stress twice and silently cried and prayed he would be okay. Plus you were absolutely starving and pissed because Mochi decided to come early just to not want to come out.

It wasn't all bad though. You got to see Kayoko yesterday. She did ask about Katsuki, and you lied and said he was busy with work. You hated having to lie, but you didn't want to hurt her with the fact her daddy might not be okay. Kayoko stayed for about an hour before Mitsuki took her back.

Kirishima was still there too. He kept his word and didn't leave you. It was hard for him too, knowing his best friend was hurt and his you were in pain both mentally and physically. Kiri tried to make you laugh at cheer you up, and occasionally it worked.

It was 6 am on March 31st, and you couldn't sleep. Last night the doctor talked about inducing you since it was now day three of labor. On the bright side, you'd get an epidural. On the not-so-bright side, that left an even slimmer chance of Katsuki coming in time. But you wanted to do what would keep you and Mochi alive, so you decided you'd take it in the morning.

"Still can't sleep?" You looked over at Kirishima as he rubbed his eyes. He'd taken two chairs to make a fake bed so he could sleep in a somewhat comfortable spot. "Nope. I'm worried about getting induced." You said as you turned on your side. "We talked about this y/n. It's for you and Mochi to stay safe." "I know Kiri. I'm just upset is all."

Even though it was dark and the TV was on, Kirishima could still hear your soft sniffles. He got up and brought one of his chairs next to your bed. "Come here." You sat up and he pulled you into a hug, rubbing your back as you cried into his shoulder. He could just tell you were in so much pain by the way you clung to his shirt and sobbed.

"I can't imagine how you're feeling right now y/n. But I know if Katsuki was here he'd tell you to stay strong. Not just for him, but for Kayoko, for Mochi, and for yourself. This is gonna be hard, and I know it's hard not having him here, but if he doesn't make it here, he'll have a new baby boy to see when he's here." Eijiro's words touched you, and you knew he was right.

"Also, I dyed my hair for your gender reveal and now it's this purplish color because I forgot to bleach it before putting the red on. So you owe it to me to see my godson so I know it was worth it." You chuckled a bit, pulling away from him and wiping your tears. "Thank you Ei." You said with a soft smile.

Kiri just patted your head before getting up and going to turn on the light. "I'm gonna go down to the vending machine and see if I can get something. I'll make sure to eat in the hallway so I don't have to torture you." You softly exhaled as Kirishima put on his shoes.

While he was tying his shoelaces, You could hear there was stomping down the hallway and a lady yelling. "I wonder what that's all about?" "Maybe someone left their room when they shouldn't have? I'll wait till after they pass to leave so I don't interfere." The yelling got closer, but instead of passing, it stopped as your door swung open and Katsuki was standing there.

"Kat...?" Your voice was quiet as you looked at him in shock. He had a boot on his leg, was on crutches, and had a bandage on his head, but he was here. You burst into tears of happiness as he walked into the room and Kirishima helped him sit next to you. "Are you okay?" "Fuck if I'm okay, are you okay? They told me you've been in here for three days." They? Who was they?

Out of nowhere Kaminari, Mina, and Sero ran into the doorway out of breath. "For a man... Who just got shot... And is- holy fuck- on crutches... He sure does run fast..." Kaminari breathed as he took deep breaths. Katsuki took your hand and softly held it in his and kissed your knuckles. "So what's happening?" "They're going to induce me at eight and give me an epidural. So I won't feel a thing for about two hours." You told him as he wiped your tears away. It filled you so much happiness to know he was okay.

It was 9:20, and you had gotten induced and the epidural. Everything from the waist down was numb, but you could still feel the pressure on your pelvis along with lighter contractions. You and Katsuki just chatted and he talked to you whenever a contraction hit and you had to push. Your friends and family were in the waiting room, and now all you had to do was wait for Mochi's arrival.

"It's so weird like I just can't feel the pain." You told Katsuki as you stopped pushing. "Isn't that a good thing though?" "Of course, but I do feel like I'm cheating." Katsuki snickered a bit as he rubbed your palm with his thumb. "Trust me, hun, you're not cheating. A baby is still pushing its way out of you, epidural or not."

You rested your head on his shoulder as you breathed. Even if you couldn't really feel anything, it was still tiring to push. Mochi was crowning, so it was only a matter of time until he was out. You could feel another contraction coming on, and you grabbed Katsuki's hands as you pushed. It was still a bit painful, but you kept at it.

This back and forth lasted for about thirty minutes until you felt relief and heard the sounds of a cry. Katuski and you both sighed in relief as you watched the doctors move around. Katsuki was able to get up and cut the cord, getting a glimpse of his son before they took him to get cleaned up.

"Could you tell what he looked like?" "Not really, no. But I bet he looks like his mother." You snickered at that, grabbing his hand and holding it. "With the strong genes your family has? I doubt it." "What? Kayoko looked like me when she was first born, but she has your nose, lips, and face shape. Don't act like I'm the only parent with strong genes." You both laughed before the nurse came back with Mochi.

You gently grabbed him and placed his face on your chest. Looking at him, he didn't look just like Katsuki. He had a blend of both your features. Even though he was pale now you knew his skin would get some color after a while. His eyes opened, and of course, they were red. They were like Kayoko's, still crimson, but a bit softer. "He looks like his sister..." You said softly as you rocked him.

"Hey Mochi, did you wait for Daddy to get here before you finally decided to come?" Katsuki gently stroked the soft blonde curls on Mochi's head, tearing up just by looking at his son. Guess his kids just had that effect on him.

After your hour of golden time, people got to see Mochi. First was his sister and grandparents of course. "He look like me." Kayoko said as he looked at Mochi from Katsuki's lap. "Yep. This is your little brother." You told her as she looked at him in awe. "Did you two decide on a name yet?" Mitsuki asked. You looked over at Katsuki and he gave a slight nod. You looked back down at Mochi before giving a smile.

"His name is Kyoichi. Kyoichi Bakugou."
