You woke up on the floor. Truth be told, you don't know how you ending up there. Your eyes felt puffy from crying and your limbs felt stiff from laying on the floor all night. You stood up and walked over to the bathroom.
After using it and going to wash your hands, you got a good look in the mirror. Your nose was clearly swollen. Someone could tell it from one good look. You just sighed before turning on the water to the sink.
You had to get past it. You didn't want to think about it. Kayoko was sick, she was the main priority. You left your room and went over to hers. She was up, watching cartoons while bundled up in the covers. "Morning Peanut."
She looked over at you, giving a smile before covering her mouth to cough. "Morning Mommy." You walked over to her and put your hand on her forehead. "You're still warm, but I think it's gone down some." "I hungry mommy." You lightly snickered at her before standing back up.
"I'll make you some soup and bring it up to you, okay?" Kayoko nodded, but before you could leave she pointed at you. "What happen to you face Mommy?" Shit. You were hoping it was dim enough in her room so she wouldn't see it. "Mommy fell yesterday like a goof. I'm fine baby." You smiled at her, but her look of worry didn't change.
"Why you and Daddy loud last night?" She asked. God, you hated having to lie to her. "We just had a disagreement. I'm sorry we woke you up." "Is Daddy here?" Kayoko hadn't seen him in two days, and she missed him. "No baby... He had to go back to work. I'm gonna go make your soup now." You left her room, taking a few deep breaths to calm yourself down so you didn't start crying again.
You were about to go into Kyoichi's room until there was a knock at the door. Confused, you went downstairs and went to the door. But you yelped in shock as Kirishima yelled out "SOUP!" And held out two bags. "Kiri... What the fuck...?" You leaned over and rested your hand on your chest to calm your heart down.
"Yesterday you asked me to get you some soup for Kay remember? So I've delivered." While that was nice of him, the mark on your face and bruise on your wrist would definitely make him freak out. Thank god you'd put on a sweater, but there was no covering your face.
You just told him to come in while quickly turning around and walking to the kitchen. Kirishima followed, sitting the bags on the counter and taking the soup cans out. "So how's Kay?" "Better than yesterday. You came at a perfect time though, I was just about to make her soup."
You opened the cabinet and had to reach for a bowl. Once you grabbed it, you turned around to grab a soup can. "y/n, what happened to your nose?" You looked up and saw Kirishima on the other side of the island. "It's nothing I'm fine." You told him before reaching for the soup.
Even though he couldn't see your face, Kiri could tell something was wrong. Before you could turn back around Kirishima gently grabbed your bicep. "y/n what's wrong with-" His whole demeanor changed when he turned you and saw your face.

"So why did you come here at two in the morning?" Izuku asked Katsuki as he handed him a cup of coffee. Katsuki needed someone to go, and his usual options weren't the best option. Kirishima and Sero would've beaten his ass if he told them what happened with or without an explanation. His mother would've been worse, so he was out on his last wit.
"I fucked up bad Izuku." The fact Katsuki used his first name set Midoriya back a bit. "Must've been a bad fuck up if we're using actual names now Kacchan." They both sat on the couch, facing each other with coffee in hands. While Izuku looked at him, Katsuki could barely keep eye contact. "I just need you to hear me out before you start jumping to conclusions and shit okay?" Izuku nodded, sipping his coffee while looking at the blonde.
"I hit y/n last night." Green eyes went wide as he stared at him. "You what?" "Just listen. So I came home at like one and y/n is pissed at me because I hadn't been home. We start arguing and I call her a bitch. She slaps me and gives me a threat right after, and I just tell her to never do it again. She asks if she's supposed to take being called a bitch and when I don't answer she says something smart I don't even remember but I tell her to shut the fuck up. I get pushed off the bed and while she's talking I grab her hair. She said I was hurting her and to let go, and before I could say she needed to stop she punched me in the nose. Something snapped in me, and I ended up punching her. Her nose starts bleeding and after she cleans it up she just ignores me and goes back to bed."
Izuku had to process. Putting everything together and coming up to a conclusion. "Personally, I think you're both in the wrong." That made Katsuki look up at the man. "She's not in the wrong. I hit her." "She hit first. She started it." "That doesn't mean I get to fucking hit her!" "Oh no, I agree you were definitely wrong for that. But she provoked you and initiated it." "Are you saying she deserved to get hit?" "Of course not! A man should never hit a woman, but in your case you were angry and in a way it was self-defense."
Izuku took a pause to sip his coffee, and once he realized Katsuki didn't have a rebuttal he continued. "On the other hand, you could've handled it better, and hitting her should've been the last resort to calm her down. And while you deserved the slap for calling her a bitch, she stopped without a valid reason. You're both wrong for putting your hands on each other."
Katsuki tapped his coffee mug at Izuku's words. While he still felt like he was 100% wrong, he saw Izuku's points. "Look Katsuki, you can stay as long as you need. But at some point, you're gonna have to solve this." Red eyes met green, a look of remorse in them. "So what do I do?"

Kirishima had mixed feelings. He had to sit you down and calm you down before you told him what happened. He was a strong believer in not hitting women under any circumstances, and was honestly pissed his best friend of all people did it to his own wife.
"Are you okay?" You just shook your head while eating the ramen Kiri made for you. "It doesn't matter if I'm okay anyway. It's my fault I got hit." Kirishima looked at you in disbelief after that. "What do you mean it's your fault?" "I started the argument. I hit him first. I didn't stop. I know that when Katsuki gets angry he hits. I should've just kept my mouth shut and this wouldn't have happened."
You had to set your bowl down and wipe your eyes as you cried. "y/n you both were wrong. You were wrong for hitting him, but you were not wrong for telling him to be home with his kids. He wasn't wrong for grabbing you and trying to calm you down, but he was wrong for grabbing your hair and he was extremely wrong for hitting you."
Kiri stayed with you, helping out with the kids and making sure you were okay. He would try to cheer up Kayoko with stories and jokes, which definitely make her feel better. It was about six now, and Kirishima made you watch cartoons to cheer yourself up while he made dinner.
"You know you don't have to do this." "It's alright. I wanted to try out this new recipe anyway. Plus Kaminari doesn't like cinnamon so I need a different taste tester." You just gave a playful eye roll before looking back to the TV. It was a good thing Kiri picked up cooking classes as a hobby.
Your mood had changed though. While you still had a swollen nose, you just tried to not think about it until you had to. You knew you'd eventually have to talk to Katsuki, but the time for that wasn't right now. Instead, you'd watch Kiki's Delivery Service and talk to Kiri.
It was like that until you heard keys in the door.
