Making Katsuki wake up for work was definitely a hassle.
Even though you didn't work since it was Saturday, Katsuki's alarm still woke you up. If only he wasn't being an ass about getting up. "Katsuki, you're going to be late if you don't get up and into the shower." You told him while trying to separate him from you. "True, but you're just so comfy that I just might call off so we can cuddle all day."
Though you'd like the idea of just lazing about with your husband all day, you actually had papers to grade and he needed to work. "Kat, we have tomorrow to spend all the time we want together. But right now I need to wake Kayoko up and you need to get ready." He just grumbled before kissing you. You kissed back but pulled away. Katsuki started to grumble again but he finally got up and went to the bathroom.
You gave your body a quick stretch before pulling the covers off and getting out of bed. You jumped a bit at the cold floor, making sure to put on your slides before going to Kayoko's room. She was laying down with her hand holding her blanket and man was she cute.
"Wake up Kayoko..." You lightly shook and her eyes fluttered open. She looked at you, blinked, then turned around. "Jeez, you're always so cranky in the morning." You picked her up and took her into the kitchen. Since your bottle warmer was in the shower, she'd just have to drink her milk cold today. She started to drink from the bottle the second she got it and held onto it for dear life. Probably because she was still half asleep and didn't want to drop it. Smart kid.
You had started to make breakfast when Katsuki came out in his winter hero costume. "Ooh, look at you dressed all warm. It's a shame though, I miss those arms." Katsuki scoffed before grabbing your hip and pulling you into a kiss. It lasted a second before a little person decided to stop it by yelling "Hey!" And hitting her hand on the high chair table.
"Aww, does my baby girl want a kiss too?" Katsuki walked over to Kayoko and started to pepper kisses all over her face. She giggled and decided to kiss him back. "Thank you Peanut." He smiled before turning back to you. You threw him a granola bar, and he made sure he took a bite in front of you so you knew he ate something before saying goodbye a leaving. It was now just you and your daughter until Katsuki came back.

Turns out, you wouldn't be alone. Because Kirishima and Kaminari decided to come over. It was good though because they could watch Kayoko while you graded. They were sitting on the couch while you were at the kitchen island. Kirishima was trying to get her to say "Uncle Kiri" but of course, she was being difficult.
"C'mon Kayoko. Un-cle Keer-ie." Even though he sounded it out, she continued to babble whatever she wanted. "Ei-Ei!" She smiled while pointing at him. "Where did you even get that from?" "Maybe it's from your first name? Ei-Ei and Eijiro kind of sound alike." Kaminari explained while playing with Kayoko's hair.
Kirishima just shrugged before plopping his head on the couch. Though he loved his goddaughter/niece to the moon and back, her not being able to really talk yet was getting boring. But he knew eventually she'd get it, it would just take longer than he thought.
"Mama!" Kayoko yelled, and you turned to look at her. "Yes, Peanut?" She started to pat her stomach, which told you she was hungry. "Want some applesauce?" "Yes!" You gave a small smile before getting up and grabbing one of the applesauce squeeze packs and giving it to her. "Watch her and make sure she doesn't get it everywhere guys. I don't feel like cleaning the couch again." You told them before going back to work.
But just before you started to focus again, you heard glass shattering from your bedroom. The three of you tensed up while looking at each other. "Kaminari, stay with Kayoko. Kirishima, come with me." Kirishima nodded before getting up and the two of you slowly walked to your bedroom. You could hear feet crunching glass, and in an instant, you kicked the door open.
Two people dressed in all black and wearing masks stood in your room. You quickly jumped over the bed and took one of them out while Kirishima handled the other one. Once you pinned them down, you pulled off the mask to see a pale man with grey eyes looking up at you. "Who are you?" He didn't answer but instead tried to get you off of him.
"Not gonna talk, huh?" You got up, pulling him up with you, and walked over to the window. You grabbed onto his collar and dangled him out of the window. He started to panic and grab your arm, and you jerked which freaked him out even more. "My name is Yoshio Konya!" He yelled while he held on for dear life.
"Why are you in my home?" You said coldly while removing one of your fingers from your grip. "I'm a part of the Motonimodosu-clan! We're here to assassinate you and your family!" His words shook you to your core, and you threw him back inside. He was knocked out by Kiri before you grabbed some rope and tied the two up. The two of you walked back into the living room to see Denki rocking Kayoko back and forth. She was so unbothered, but at the same time, she didn't know what was going on.
"Is everything okay?" He asked while looking at you two. Eijiro explained the situation while you grabbed your phone and called your husband. It took about three rings before he picked up. "Hey, hun. I'm kind of busy right now. What's up?" "People broke into our house and wanted to kill us." The line was silent before Katsuki started to ask multiple questions. You explained everything before going into Kayoko's room and grabbing an already packed bag in her closet.
You told Katsuki to call the police so they could pick them up, and then hung up and went back into the living room. "What's the bag for?" "I'm gonna take Kayoko to Uraraka's. She'll be safe there while we sort all this out." You put on a pair of shoes and grabbed your keys while giving Kayoko's shoes and jacket to Denki. "We'll come with you." "No, Kaminari will come with me. I need you to stay and watch those two while the cops and Katsuki get here."
Kirishima gave a nod before you and Kaminari grabbed your things and left. The ride to the Todoroki's house was a fast one. You needed to make sure your daughter was safe and you knew they would do just that. "This is crazy. I can't believe there are people out there trying to hurt you." "I'm a hero. That kind of comes with the job." You turned the corner and parked in front of their house. Something was... Off though. Looking through the window, you could see a fire. "Shit... Watch her." You told Kaminari before jumping out of the car and running up the stairs. You ran through the open door to see Shouto fighting off two guys.
You were able to sneak up on one of the guys and take them out, but a pull of your hair told you there were more than two. Thank god you took self-defense classes because you were able to get the grip off of your hair and throw the person across the room. Shouto froze the person in ice along with the others before turning to look at you. "So, what brings you here..." He asked as the two of you caught your breath.
"Well I was going to drop Kayoko off here because I got attacked, but it seems like this isn't the best choice either." Even though the situation was serious, the two of you shared a small laugh. "Wait, where's-" "There downstairs in the safe room. Where's yours?" You gave a relieved sigh before telling him where Kayoko was.
You went downstairs and gave a special knock so they knew it was safe. The door opened and the second you saw Ochako you pulled her into a hug. "y/n? Why are you here?" She asked before hugging you back. "We were attacked too, I'll explain later. Are you okay?" You gave her the look, and she nodded because she knew what you meant.
You needed to figure out what was happening soon.
