Katsuki never knew why his parents had to come over.

They got to see their grandkids two days a week, what else did they need? But now they wanted to come over all the time. He figured it was since you were pregnant, but he could only take so much of them. Plus you'd made him stop calling them old hag and old man in front of the kids. He had to call them Ma and Pa now.

Sometimes it felt overwhelming. And while he'd never admit that he really did love his parents, he didn't want them over all the time. Like right now, while he was trying to make lunch. Kayoko was telling Masaru about some kid drinking five cartons of milk at pre-school while Kyoichi was sort of talking to Mitsuki. He would say a mix of actual words while babbling, and Mitsuki would just act like she knew what he was saying.

"I go gruble wa ababa look abi." "Oh yeah, that's totally reasonable. So what happened next?" He continued to babble along while playing with the charm bracelet she was wearing. Was Katsuki somewhat jealous that his kids had a better relationship with his parents than he did? He wouldn't say it, but sometimes. But he remembers that without him they wouldn't even have grandkids, so that made him feel better.

"Come eat kids," Katsuki said as he set the bowls of Udon on the kid table. "Food! I'll be back Grandpa." Kayoko ran to the table, Kyoichi right behind her. Once they were situated Katsuki grabbed the other plates and put them on the dining room table. "Look at that hun, he made us food." "Wasn't gonna let you fucking starve." Katsuki jumped a bit as he felt a pinch of his leg, looking down to see Kayoko with a scowl on her face.

"What a pottymouth. Go put money in the swear jar." "Pottymouth jar!" Katsuki looked at his kids before grumbling and going to the swear jar. This was the one thing he hated in his house. There was no point of it anyway, you were rich. Plus all it did was go towards groceries.

After putting money in the jar he walked to the bottom of the stairs. "y/n, come eat!" It took a couple of seconds before you came down the stairs rubbing your eyes. "Were you asleep again?" Katsuki snickered as you nodded, kissing your forehead before walking you to the table.

"Well hello, Sleeping Beauty." You waved at Mitsuki before sitting down and yawning. "Did you check the mail?" You asked Katsuki, and the shake of his head made you sigh. He was lucky you needed to wake up anyway. So you walked over to the door and opened it to pick up the mail. It was mainly junk, except a letter for Katsuki. "Hun, you got a letter from the Mighties."

Katsuki looked at you unamused, chewing his udon before swallowing. "So? It's probably just invitations." You gave your husband a look while putting your hands on your hips. The Mighties were a celebration for heroes that happened every year in January. Katsuki was in the top 10 now, being the number 5. So it made sense that he would get invited. You opened it, seeing a letter and two invitations. "See, I wasn't wrong. Just invitations." You rolled your eyes as you opened the letter.

Before you could start reading Kayoko ran up to you and grabbed your leg. "I wanna read it Mommy let me read it!" You smiled before handing her the letter. "Dear Bakugou Katsuki, you and a plus one have been invited to the Mighties! Please inform us as soon as possible to reserve your placement." Katsuki just listened as Kayoko talked. She was getting good at reading. It was hard to believe she'd be starting Kindergarten in April.

"Shall it also be noted that you have been nominated for three awards." Everyone looked at Katuski and ooh-ed as looked at them. "So what, it's probably three useless awards." "At least you got nominated for something. Some of us aren't in the top ten." You scolded your husband as he mumbled a sorry before telling Kayoko to read the nominations.

"You've been nominated for best costume," "Basic." "most saves in a day," "Boring." "and best hero." That made Katsuki's eyes widen and hand's drop his chopsticks. Now, not anyone got nominated for Best Hero. That was an honor in itself. But the fact he could win was thrilling. "Oh God, best hero..." Katsuki mumbled to no one imparticular. "You better go, I've been designing y/n's dress for about a month now," Mitsuki said while twirling her noodles. "Of course we're going. I need to show those extras who the best hero is."

Katsuki never wanted to win something more in his life.
