You had no idea how to tell Katsuki. There were a million ways you could. But it needed to be special. It was a difficult choice. Katsuki said his kids would at least be tolerable with him. You want this to be perfect. You asked Uraraka for ideas since she had to tell Shouto she was expecting twice.
It took a while, but you had finally figured out how it wanted to tell him. You paced around the apartment a lot, with no other sounds except your feet as they walked. Katsuki was still at work but would be home in a couple of hours. You had already washed clothes, eaten lunch, watched TV, and done pretty much everything you could've done to help the time go by faster.
It was now six, and you heard steps approaching your apartment. You felt a knot in your stomach as they got louder. Keys were jangling in the door, but before you could greet your husband you heard another voice.
"I'm telling you Kacchan, I left it here!" "Whatever nerd." You looked at the door to see Katsuki and Izuku walking in. Katsuki walked over to you and placed a kiss on your forehead. "I'm gonna take a shower. You better be gone before I'm done." Katsuki walked into the back, leaving you and Izuku alone in the living room.
"So have you told him yet?" Izuku asked, sitting next to you. "Told him... What exactly?" There's no way he knew? The only way he would've known is if- "Uraraka told me. Now answer my question!" Of course, she told. She would've had to tell someone. And from your guess telling Shouto couldn't keep her excitement contained. So now three people know.
"No, I haven't told him yet. That's was I going to do but you waltz in here and now I have to wait even longer." You gave a pout as Izuku laughed. "I'm sorry, but I had to know! Congratulations though (Y/N) and good luck. I just hope your baby doesn't have Kacchan's temper. Who knows what chaos that could bring into this household." You couldn't help but laugh, but he wasn't wrong. A mini Katsuki was going to be here soon. You didn't know how that would affect your life.
"Well, I gotta get going. Tell Katsuki I found my charger." Izuku reached under your couch and pulled out a chord. "How did you..." "Good thing Uraraka knows how to plant something when you need her to." Izuku gave a smile as he got up and walked to the door. You couldn't help but snicker as he left.
The sound of the shower stopped and you felt a familiar knot in your stomach. You ran into the bedroom and looked under the mattress. You grabbed the box you hid a week and a half ago. Footsteps could be heard approaching the room so you quickly placed the box behind your back.
Katsuki walked into the room, drying off the rest of his hair with a towel. He sat next to you and continued to pet his hair. Your hands fiddled with the box behind you. All you could feel was your heartbeat as it pounded in your chest. "So are you finally gonna tell me what's in that damn box?"
You almost jumped ten feet in the air when those words left Katsuki's mouth. Were there no secrets?! "Hiding it under the mattress was stupid. I could fucking feel it. The mattress isn't that fucking thick." You sighed as you pulled the box from behind you and into his lap.
He threw the towel on the floor and picked up the box. It was in a long rectangular box with a latch on it. There was no reason for him to receive a present from you. His birthday was next month and your anniversary was in three. So what would be the reason? Flipping the hatch, he lifted the top and you bit your lip in anticipation and worry. You looked at him as his crimson eyes stared into the box.
Katsuki's hands started to shake as he saw the contents inside the box. His eyes looked into yours. He was never this quiet about anything before. You both just looked at each other as his hands continued to shake. "You're..." He couldn't even finish the sentence. "Surprise? We're having a baby..."
