Gonna clarify the date, it's March 29th and you're 36 weeks 🦈
Katsuki loved when he woke up before you.
It sounds weird, but he was happy to see you asleep. Especially since you were having trouble sleeping at night. Mochi was way more active at night, so you had trouble falling asleep. The sun was shining on your face and you were glowing to him.
The door opened, and Katsuki sat up to see Kayoko standing in the doorway. "Good morning Peanut." He said softly as she walked into the room. She climbed onto the couch then on the bed. Katsuki picked her up and laid her on his chest. "Good morning Daddy." Her small hands grabbed his larger one and held his fingers.
"I hungry Daddy." Kayoko grabbed his ring finger and bent it up and down while she talked. "You want breakfast?" She looked up at him and nodded, then turned to look at you. "Shh, Mommy sleeping." Katsuki smiled at her and squished her face, making Kayoko laugh and do the same to him.
He picked her up and took her downstairs. He put her in her high chair and went to the fridge. Before he could ask her what she wanted his phone started to ring. "Phone Daddy!" "I hear it Peanut." He looked at the caller ID to see it was work. Which pissed him off, because it was his off day. What could they possibly want?

You woke up to an empty bed. It would be strange in most cases, but when you looked at the clock and saw it was noon you realized Katsuki was probably up. You sat up and gave a stretch.
Mochi kicked, and you rubbed your bump. "Good afternoon Mochi." You told him as you got up. You put on your robe and slippers before stepping out of your room.
The sound of Kayoko laughing in the playroom told you where she was. You walked to the playroom, but instead of seeing Katsuki, Kirishima was playing with her. "Kiri?" He looked over at you with a smile on his face.
"Hey y/n! We're playing restaurant." Kayoko nodded and pretended to drink from her cup. "That's cute and all, but what are you doing here?" You asked as you leaned against the doorway.
"Katsuki had to go into work because of an emergency. He said he didn't want to wake you, so he asked me to come over and watch Kayoko until he got back." You softly scoffed at your husbands' actions. All that just so you could sleep? It was sweet but really uncalled for. "Thanks, Ei. Has she eaten yet?" You walked into the room and sat next to Kayoko on the floor.
Ei nodded as he and Kayoko clinked cups and made sipped noises to their cups. "Tea Mommy?" Kayoko asked you as she held up a cup. "Sure baby." You grabbed the cup and Kayoko poured "tea" into it. The three of you clinked cups again before taking sips.
It was like that for an hour. The three of you playing together. The game had changed from restaurant to Simon Says. Since you really couldn't do a lot of moving, you got to be Simon. "Simon says... Put your hands on your head." They both did as you said, Kayoko giggling the whole time. "Simon says-" "I gotta go potty," Kayoko said as she paced back and forth on her little feet.
"Go to the potty then baby." "Simon not say it!" You playfully sighed at her before saying "Simon says go use the potty Kayoko." She ran to the bathroom, and you couldn't help but chuckle.
You rubbed your bump as Mochi kicked again, but this time felt different. It hurt this time. Your face scrunched up until it stopped, and Kiri took notice. "You okay y/n?" He asked with his hands still on his head.
You took a break before looking over at him. "So, don't freak out. But I'm pretty sure I'm going into labor." He stared at you with wide eyes before he started yelling and freaking out.
"What did I just say?!" "Well sorry if this freaks me out! I've never had a baby before!" "You're not even having the baby! I'm the one pushing it out of me!" Kiri started to take deep breaths to calm down, and you were starting to think about who really deserved to panic right now.
"It's okay Ei. I'm not in active labor, just contractions. Calm down." You said as you reached for him to help you up. He took one more deep breath before getting up and helping you do the same.
"I swear it's okay." You smiled at him, but then another contraction hit. Kiri had to smile through the pain as you grabbed his hand and squeezed it.
"So what are we supposed to do?" "We wait it out until my contractions get close enough so we can go to the hospital. Hopefully, Katsuki gets home before we get to the point."

Katsuki did not make it home in time.
You ended up going to the hospital, but you were only 4 centimeters dilated. Kirishima was still with you, and he said he'd stay until Katsuki got there. Kayoko was with her grandparents and you honestly really missed her.
There was a knock on the door, and you hoped it was your husband. Kiri got up and opened it, and your hope fell when you saw Shouto. He and Kiri talked for a bit before Todoroki walked into the room and Eijiro walked out. "Hey y/n." He said as he sat down in the chair next to you. "Hey..." You said as you looked over at him.
He was in his hero costume, and you could tell he was a bit banged up. "How ya feeling?" "Oh you know, just the usual labor pains. Nothing too out of the ordinary." He softly chuckled, but you could tell it was off. "So, do you know where Kat is?" You asked, wanting to get to the point.
"Katsuki's not going to make it y/n."
