"What do you mean he's locked in the bathroom?"

Your heels clacked against the marble floor of the venue as you sped-walked with Mina. "I don't know what happened, everything was fine and all of a sudden he started breathing really hard and locked himself in the bathroom." Mina explained while she tried to keep up with you, your longer legs and stride a pace she could barely catch.

You made it to Kaminari's dressing room, Ochako sitting against the door. "He said anything?" "Not a peep." She said, letting you help her up before you took her spot. Dress be damned, the groom needed to get out of this bathroom. "Denki..." You said softly, pressing your ear against the door. His breathing could be heard, which meant he was sitting against the door too.

"You know, when Katsuki and I got married, I almost passed out. I was young and stressed about everything going on. I was also sad, because none of my family was there, and my mother wasn't alive to see me get married. I remember sitting at the vanity, breath heavy and vision blurry. I'm not sure if that's how you're feeling right now, but I know this can be terrifying. Just try to think about all that love you feel for Eijirou, every up and down and twist and turn, and remember the growth you've shared as a couple."

You lightly sighed, settling into the door. Though it was faint, it sounded like his breath was slowing down. It was quite, the three of you on your toes hoping that your words worked. After a couple seconds a small click could be heard, and you quickly stood up and opened the door. Denki was sitting on the ground, hugging his knees while he looked down.

You couldn't help but give a faint smile, bending down to his level. "Hey..." you said softly, and Kaminari let out a soft hum before holding his hand out. You took it, and could sense the anxiousness coursing through him. You knew your quirk could change an emotion on a dime, but it wouldn't be a good solution since he was already feeling such big emotions.

So instead, you used your thumb to rub small circles on the back of his hand, letting the motion give him something else to focus on. After about a minute, he let out a deep exhale and looked up, and thankfully his eyes weren't puffy and he didn't cry. "Alright... let's get me married."

"Okay kids, does everyone remember what they need to do?" Shouto asked Kayoko, Akimitsu, and Amai. "How come only we have to get instructions and Hiraku and Kyoichi don't?" Kayoko asked him. "Cause Hiraku can read the best and Kyoichi likes saying hi to people."

Kirishima thought the kids should be involved in the wedding, so they each had a job to do. Hiraku was leading people to their seats using his seat chart while Kyoichi was in charge of the guest book. It was easy since all he had to say was hi and sign this to them. "Now, tell me what we need to do?"

Kayoko groaned before holding up her flower basket. "When it's our turn, me and Amai have to sprinkle the flower petals down the aisle so it can look cute when uncle Denki walks down the aisle." "Great! Now you explain it to me Amai." Shouto poked his daughter's cheek, which made her slap his finger.

"I put flowers on the floor." "Hm... pretty much yeah. Now you Akimitsu." "I wait and listen, then I carry the rings on the pillow to Uncle Kiri and Uncle Kami." "Good job. Now what are we not supposed to do?" "Run down the aisle." "Burn the flowers." "Make bear noises."

Shouto nodded, content with all there answers. "Great job kids, now let's listen and wait till it's time." Shouto took back up, going to check on Kyoichi. "I just don't get why I'm not allowed to make bear noises. I'm a ring bear and bears make lots of noise!" Akimitsu huffed, crossing his arms over his suit.

Soon everyone was position, the music starting to play. Kayoko made sure to sprinkle the petals all pretty like and not rush, and Amai was harsher and balled the petals up when she grabbed them but she still did her job. Eijirou could feel his heart racing, the world felt slow around him there was a buzzing in his ears.

Then he saw him, Denki dressed in an all white suit, arms linked with his father. It all hit him at once, and his eyes filled with tears. When Denki saw that it made him start crying, and now both of them were a mess while they stared at each other. It was all a sort of blur, the priests' words falling on deaf ears. The only thing they could focus on was each other, hearts beating in sync as they held hands.

Before they knew it Akimitsu was walking down the aisle, not a single bear noise leaving his mouth as he perfectly made it down the aisle and floated up to give them the rings. "I, Eijirou Kirishima, take you, Denki Kaminari, to be my lawfully wedded husband. I promise to love and cherish you, in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health, for richer for poorer, for better for worse, and forsaking all others, keep myself only unto you, for so long as we both shall live." Kirishima slid the ring into Denki's finger, trying his best to keep his hands steady.

"I, Denki Kaminari, take you, Eijirou Kirishima, to be my lawfully wedded husband. I promise to love and cherish you, in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health, for richer for poorer, for better for worse, and forsaking all others, keep myself only unto you, for so long as we both shall live." The priest probably got to may now before the two embraced, sealing their marriage with a kiss.

A nice reception was always needed, it only being their close friends and families. Everyone was smiling, enjoying their time as they ate, drank, and danced. "Let's get wild!" Hiraku yelled, two candy crystal sticks in his hand as he danced. Usually you and Ochako wouldn't let the kids have this much candy, but it was a wedding so they could have their fun. Plus it would wear them out and they'd be asleep the second they got in the car.

Eijirou was always an emotional man. It was something he'd known for a long time. He couldn't help the tears that formed and threatened to fall each time he looked at Denki, seeing his husband with the brightest smile on his face. This had to be the best day of his life.

"Alright everyone," a fork clinking against a glass could be heard, heads turning to the older woman standing at the mic. "For those who don't know, my name is Reina Kirishima, and I'm Eijirou's mom. Well, one of his moms. Being gay must run in the family." Scattered laughter could be heard, and she smiled before continuing.

"I could not be more happy to see these two together. It took my son long enough to ask him though. When he told me last Christmas he was going to propose I yelled finally! It's been too damn long Ei I want grandkids!" Kiri couldn't help but sink into his seat, hoping his mother's speech would be wrapped up quick.

"But in all seriousness I'm so proud of them. I couldn't ask for a better son-in-law, and I-" "I said certified freak, seven days a week." Everyone looked around as WAP started to play through the speakers, eyes on the DJ who was scrambling to fix the problem.

"Kids cover your ears!" Shouto yelled, and they all did as told as Cardi B rapped her raunchy lyrics. "Well I guess that's my cue, congrats to the newly weds!" Reina said, toasting them before downing the rest of her champagne. Denki couldn't help but burst into laughter, seeing how red Kirishima's face was.

He couldn't ask for a better wedding.
