Anywhoo, timeskip. It's October of next year, making you and Katsuki 28, Kyoichi 1, and Kayoko 4 about to turn 5. Also sorry if you're white the beginning of this chapter kind of doesn't work for you. Sorry 💀.

Getting braids was a hassle.

Not like you didn't enjoy it, but it was a day-long process. Your hairdresser was nice though, and she was honored to have a pro hero in her shop. Her name was Alina, and even though she was from Japan she was black. It was nice to see other black POC in Japan since there wasn't a lot.

"So then she says 'No Mommy, you have to brush your teeth!' and tries to run away from me." Alina laughed a bit while telling you to lean forward. "That daughter of yours is really something." "I know right? I can't believe she's about to turn five in a few weeks." It was October 25th, and Kayoko's birthday was in about 3 weeks.

It felt like she was growing up too fast, but that was just the parent in you. You wanted your babies to stay babies forever. Kyoichi was up walking and somewhat talking, and Katsuki cried about it for a good thirty minutes last week. It was hard seeing your kids grow up, but that was just life.

You had already been sitting down for about five hours now, and after another thirty minutes, you were done. After your braids were dipped and Alina put foam on them she spun you around to look in the mirror. You grabbed a hair tie and put part of it in a bun, even if it did hurt a bit, and looked at your hair with satisfaction.

(Again, sorry if your white. Just pretend you got your hair curled or sum ig)

"Thank you so much, Alina." "Anytime. And next time bring your little munchkin so I can meet her." You nodded before going up to pay. After you called Katsuki and waited for about five minutes until he was there. You said your goodbyes before leaving and getting in the car.

"Well don't you look pretty." Katsuki said before leaning in and kissing you. "Ewww!" You both turned around to look at your kids sticking their tongues out. You both did it back, making them laugh. "You look so pretty, mommy!" "Pretty mama!" Kayoko gave her brother a look as he copied her, but laughed as you pinched her cheek.

Katsuki started to drive, and you listened to music as he drove. You looked out the window, looking at the people and buildings that passed. It stayed like that till you got home. You both grabbed a kid and walked to the door. Kayoko started giggling, and you gave her a look.

"What's got you all giddy?" "Nothing mommy." She smiled before kissing your cheek. You just shrugged before unlocking the door. "SURPRI-" The yell was cut off quickly as you shrieked and threw a punch. "What the fu-?" Another yell and punch were thrown, but you didn't expect to look down and see your siblings laying on the floor in pain.

"Guys, you have to stop trying to surprise me. You know how it ends." You put Kayoko down and helped your siblings up, putting them on the couch. "Why do you sit so hard..." Carlitos groaned as he leaned on your shoulder. "Why are you guys even here? You don't usually come this time of year."

Carmen leaned on your other shoulder and sighed before responding. "Dia de los Muertos is coming up, and we haven't celebrated together in years. Plus Carlitos has never celebrated with you, so your friend with the red and white hair whose name I can't pronounce flew us out." You snickered at her not being able to pronounce Todoroki but just patted her head.

"That's really thoughtful. I actually haven't celebrated in so long." "Abuela would beat you if she heard you say that." You flicked your brother's forehead, giving it a small kiss right afterward. "What's Dia de... What's the holiday?" Katsuki said as he carried a sleeping Kyoichi over and sat on the couch.

"Dia de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead. It's November first and second, and it's to celebrate passed loved ones." Katsuki let out a sound of understatement as he rubbed his son's back. Before he could say something Kayoko ran up with two Capri-sun and gave them to Carmen and Carlitos.

Before Carlitos took a sip, he realized it wasn't full. "Why's mine half-full sobrina?" "I got thirsty, and I'm only allowed one Capri-sun a day. I only took two sips though!" She smiled at him, making him sigh and pick her up. "While I don't appreciate you giving me partially drunken juice, that's something I'd totally do. So you get a pass this time maní." He gave her cheek a kiss before starting to drink his juice.

You'd missed having your family here.
