Sana umabot ka pa rito: A chapter title that is actually for myself but can also be for everyone

Friday night came, kung saan ang araw ng family dinner. Kagagaling ko lang sa training room at agad na ligo at nagsuot ng black cargo pants, kulay olive green na tank top, and military boots. Sabi ni Maximo wear something comfortable raw eh, gan'to pa naman mga damitan ko sa bahay, and I know he also said to wear something white but jokes on him 'cause I'm already white. Yes, I'm the white. 

Bumaba ako ng dormitory at agad na nadatnan na nag-iintay banda sa malayo si Maximo, ayaw n'ya sigurong ma-issue. Natatawa akong umiiling habang lakad takbo na lumalapit sa kan'ya, I just can't help but think na he's playing safe at ayaw ma-issue sa isang studyante, well sabagay ayaw ko rin naman ma-issue sa isang instructor. Isipin mo may lalaking instructor nag-iintay sa tapat ng girl's dormitory at ang malala isang studyante ang inaantay, at palalain pa natin 'cause that's me, the infamous playgirl of the academy. 

"Tara na." Sambit ko at mahina s'yang himpas sa balikat.

"I did say wear something comfy but I never thought you'd actually wear one." Kunong noong sambit nito habang tinitignan ako simula ulo hanggang paa. 

"Bakit? Ayo'n sinabi mo eh." Sabi ko.

"Yeah but people have common sense." Sambit nito dahilan para muli akong matawa. "People with common sense know that family dinners are formal events so you basically need to wear formal but comfy attire."

"Sorry but I don't have common sense." 

"Oh don't worry, I can clearly see that." He said then we both laughed as we went off to his car.

Sumakay ako sa kotse n'ya 'cause the family dinner won't be occurring here at the academy obviously. I thought it would be somewhere in the down town but we went deeper at the center part of the kingdom, where elites lives. As we get deeper I noticed na mas advance ang technology dito, we do have technology in fact we're rich in technology but we commoners doesn't have that much privilege to have one especially the one who's on the last, the peasants. The gadgets we commoners have are probably the oldest one and because of it I can't help but wonder kung gaano kaya ka-advance ang technology dito. If I get the chance I want to have one, I want to study one.

As we've gone deeper, we stopped at a mansion. Napanganga pa nga ako dahil sa laki, never pa akong nakakita ng ganito kalaki at kagandang bahay. Our house doesn't even have second floor, dalawang kwarto lang para kila Mama't Papa then sakin, maliit na CR na katabi ng kusina then sala na. But even with just that, it didn't really matter kasi masaya naman kami. I wonder if Mama's family have this kind of mansion.

"Aren't you going in?" Ngising tanong sa'kin ni Maximo dahilan para mabaling ang tingin ko sa kan'ya at bumungad sa'kin ang mata n'yang punong-puno ng pagka-libang.

"Ah sorry na." Sabi ko na ikinatawa lang ng huli.

"Is this your first time to see a house big as this?"

"Obviously, hindi naman ako mapapanganga kung hindi ko first time."

"Maldita." Narnig kong natatawang bulong nito at tuluyan na kaming pumasok sa loob.

Muli akong namangha nang salubungin kami ng isang maid at dinala kami sa hapagkainan. Wow they even have maids, I like their uniforms by the way, makes me wanna be a maid. Nang tuluyan na kaming makarating sa hapagkainan ay bumungad sa tenga naming dalawa ang malalakas nilang tawa, natigil lang sila nang mapansin na kami.
