53. Training

"Y/n! Wake up!" Ekans screamed in her ear making her twitch in annoyance. "Shut up! I need more sleep!" Y/n exclaimed. "Well, I need food!" Ekans exclaimed. "Get food by yourself then! I'm not your maid!"

"Now now, don't worry, I brought food for you guys!" Dan said through the door.

Ekans dashed towards the door then opened it revealing a tray full of Y/n's and his favorite foods. He stole his part of the meal then flew up to the roof to eat alone and enjoy the view. Y/n opened her eyes when the scent of the food went through her nose. Dan chuckled at this sight and placed the her part of the meal on the table beside her bed.

"You better eat a lot, I got a trainer for you." Dan said. "Oh, so who's my trainer?" Y/n asked as she was shoving down her food. "Eat slowly." Dan smiled. "Just someone who knows about you, you will meet him when you and Ekans are done eating." Y/n nodded.

"Hey! Is this trainer someone I know?" Ekans shouted from the roof gaining the attention from the other people. "Maybe, maybe not. By the way, the "phrase" I told you guys last time is the password that your trainer should say when he meets you." Dan said as he left the room.

"What kind of password did he gave us last time?" Ekans asked. "It's just a simple phrase, no big deal." Y/n said.

"Do people not mind looking at you? You're literally screaming." Y/n asked. "Nope, basically, seeing a talking bird is normal for them." Ekans said. "Why not transform yourself into a human?" Y/n asked. "Chanting fancy words is not my forte." Ekans said. "Of course...." Y/n mumbled.

Y/n and Ekans walked towards the area they were supposed to meet with the trainer. Y/n looked around trying to look for thr chosen trainer but to no avail. She started stomping her right foot in the ground with arms crossed.

"Can you stop?" Ekans asked for he was annoyed of Y/n's actions. "I'm nervous,  okay?" Y/n said.

"Hello, you must be Y/n and Ekans, am I right?"

A man suddenly appeared behind Y/n, scaring her. Ekans moved backwards to give a distance between him and the man. Y/n opened her grimoire in her fighting stance.

"Wait wait, I'm not here to fight you. Well actually I am supposed to." The man chuckled. "Are you here to kill me?" Y/n asked.

"At least include me! What if he's here to kill me?" Ekans shouted at Y/n. "You can disappear!" Y/n exclaimed. "What kind of a spirit guardian would I be if I left someone who I should freaking protect?!" Ekans shot back.

"Calm down, I'm your trainer." The man smiled. "Do you know the password?" Y/n asked.  "What password?" The man asked. "Then you're not the trainer!" Y/n exclaimed as she binded him with her light magic.

"Time to fight huh?" The man said as he was doing some stretches to loosen himself up. "Now don't go easy on me, okay?"

"As if I will!" Y/n said as she dashed towards him with a sword made of light. "Hmm...a sword? I should use one too." The man said as he created a sword made of dark magic which suprised Y/n.

The man and Y/n started swinging their swords at each other in silence, just hearing the sounds of their swords hitting each other were heard.

"You have good skills." The man said. "Thank you, you too." Y/n said. "Don't make a god damn conversation when you're fighting an enemy!" Ekans exclaimed. "I know so shush!" Y/n shot back earning a glare from Ekans.

"Focus here missy." The man said as he trapped Y/n in his arms. "Hey! Get off me!" Y/n exclaimed as she was trying to move out from his arms by moving her whole body.

"You're gonna wake up a friend of mine down there, dear." He whispered into her ear, slightly smirking.

That very sentence made Y/n explode in anger.
