33. Yuno's First Mission #3

(Dining room)

"Are these Hage's local specialties, nomotatoes?" Salim asked. "I'm not sure if they're adequate for your refined palate, but do try some." Father Orsi said.

Salim got a nomotatoe then ate it, "It's dry and starchy. This is the first time my mouth has ever become so devoid of moisture." *drinks water*.

Y/n's mind: Watch...Your...Mouth...*glares*

Yuno then saw Y/n glaring at Salim without him noticing so Yuno placed his palm Y/n's head. "What are you doing?" Y/n whispered. "You're too obvious." Yuno whispered.

"Even so...It's delicious." Salim continued. "I'm so glad!" Father Orsi exclaimed.

Y/n's mind: Good....*looks away*

Yuno's mind: Good....*sighs*

"Sister Lily, you must possess exceptional culinary skills." Salim looked at Sister Lily. Sister Lily looked away blushing, "No, not at all.".

"Feel free to dig in, eat as much as you like. That goes for you, Klaus and Mimosa." Father Orsi said. "A-all right." Klaus said.

Klaus's mind: I am a nobleman. Why am I here eating this mysterious thing?

"It really makes one thirsty!" Mimosa exclaimed. "Yes, it does." Father Orsi smiled. "Yuno, Asta and Y/n sent us money from their first wages as Magic Knights. That's how we were able to afford so many nomotatoes and keep the children's bellies full everyday!" Father Orsi exclaimed and it made Yuno and Y/n smile.

"Hey how about feeding us something other than nomotatoes?" Nash asked. Father Orsi walked towards Yuno and Y/n, "Don't be greedy! Yuno grew up eating nomotatoes and look at how big and strong he is now. Y/n also grew tall and strong plus she looks more mature now." Father Orsi kept patting Y/n's head. "You can stop now Father Orsi hehehe." Y/n chuckled nervously. "You really have grown into a young lady." Father Orsi cried.

Y/n's mind: He's too emotional...

"A lot of boys will be staring at you because you're too beautiful." Father Orsi still kept patting Y/n's head. "You can really stop now Father Orsi." Y/n said chuckling.

Yuno's mind: As if I will make that happen...

"Yuno?" Salim called. "Sending your first wages home is a commendable deed."

"It's nothing." Yuno said looking away. "Also the beauty beside Yuno." Salim called Y/n. "Me?" Y/n asked pointing at herself. "Yes, you." Salim smiled at her so she did also.

Y/n's mind: Don't look at me like that....*fake smiles*

Yuno's mind: Why are you making that look Y/n?

"Yuno, Y/n, thank you so much. You guys helped us out a lot. It didn't just help us buy nomotatoes." Sister Lily said. "We patched up the holes in the floorboards." Recca said. "And we built a well in the yard!" Nash exclaimed. "Thank you, Yuno and Y/n!" A little girl exclaimed. "Thank you!" A little boy exclaimed. "Great!" Y/n smiled at the kids then Yuno did also.

Yuno stopped smiling then looked at Sister Lily and Father Orsi with a serious look plastered on his face, "Did Asta send money too?" Yuno asked. "Yes, that boy did." Father Orsi said then started crying. "How much did he send?". "Well..." Sister Lily walked towards Yuno and whispered him the amount Asta sent which surprised him.

"How about Y/n?" Yuno asked. "Hey, why do you want to know how much I sent?" Y/n asked. 'How much did she send?" Yuno ignored Y/n. "Oi, don't ignore me you jerk!" Y/n exclaimed. "Sister Lily don't tell him." Y/n said gesturing her but it was too late, Yuno heard it and had a surprised look on his face then looked at Y/n. "W-what...." Y/n then looked away.

"Starting next month, I'll send all my wages to you." Yuno said. Sister Lily was surprised, "We don't need that much. What you sent us is enough to last us a while. We appreciate the thought though.". "I'll still send it." Yuno said. "I-if you say so, thank you." Sister Lily smiled.

"You're already thinking of me as your rival huh?" Y/n smirked at Yuno. "I mean you're powerful." Yuno said. "But my goal is not to become the Magic Empress you know. I just want freedom." Y/n said. "Still, it's quite obvious that you are stronger than me." Yuno said. "No I am not and I'm not gonna compete with you and Asta..maybe..." Y/n looked away.

"Wow, a beauty stronger than Yuno?" Salim asked. "May I know your name lady?" Salim asked. "My name is Y/n..." Y/n suddenly was drowning in her thoughts..

Y/n's dream:
"Amaryllis....Silvamillion...Y/n..." A woman said. "Amaryllis...."

Amaryllis??? What?

"Ama..ryllis" Y/n said not knowing what she said. "Y/n Amaryllis?" Salim asked in shock. "Wait Y/n, you know your family name?" Yuno asked in shock. "Wait..what? No! What are you talking about?" Y/n chuckled. "But you just said Amaryllis.." Nash said. "I did?" Y/n asked. "Are you okay?" Yuno asked touching her forehead. "Yah, I am." Y/n said.

Y/n's mind: Amaryllis? I don't know but Silvamillion....That's the family name of the First Magic Emperor! *trembling*

Yuno looked at Y/n and noticed her change of look.

Yuno's mind: She's not looking okay....

Klaus cleared his throat, "Salim, we should depart soon.". "There's no rush, I'm sure we can stay a little longer. As members of the nobility, eye-opening experiences such as this are the key to broadening our horizons. Sister Lily, may I have some more water?" he asked. "Of course....oh...it's empty. I'll fetch more water." Sister Lily said. "I'll go." Y/n and Yuno said together then looked at each other. "N-no, it's all right. Just sit and relax." Sister Lily said.

"Please wait just a moment." Salim said then Sister Lily stopped in her tracks. Salim then gave her his robe, "It's chilly outside at night.". "Thank you." Sister Lily said then walked towards the door.

"You're a real gentleman." Y/n smiled. "No, I just find myself doing it naturally, Ms. Amaryllis. It must be my noble pedigree." Salim said. "Please call me Y/n, I just said Amaryllis out of nowhere, I actually don't know my family name." Y/n said. "Oh okay Y/n." He smiled.

Yuno's mind: What are you doing? Stop smiling at him....

"Are you okay Yuno?" Y/n asked. "Y-yeah..." he looked away instantly. "A-all right.." Y/n said.

Y/n's mind: Weird...ooohhh..

"Hey, Yuno" Y/n whispered. Yuno went close to her, "What?". "Were you.....by chance...jealous?" Y/n smirked. "You're overthinking too much, what's wrong with your brain?" Yuno said trying to change the subject. "Hey! My brain is okay, you jerk!" Y/n exclaimed.

"You guys really are close huh?" Y/n and Yuno looked at Salim. "Are you guys...by chance...in a relationship?" Salim asked smirking.

"No." (Y/n)

"Yes." (Yuno)

Y/n looked at Yuno in shock, "YUNO!". "What?" Yuno asked nonchalantly. "We're not in a relationship." Y/n chuckled. "We're just friends, hehehehe, we're like fighting buddies." Y/n chuckled nervously whil patting Yuno's back.

Yuno's mind: She doesn't know how to control her strength...*sighs*

Klaus's mind: Hmmm....

The sound of a glass breaking was heard outside.

Everyone was in shock then Yuno and Y/n ran outside to check if anything bad happened then the rest followed.

Y/n's mind: Please be okay....Sister Lily...
