25. First Mission Over

The villagers walked towards them and saw Y/n unconscious and a woman walked towards Y/n and said that she would like to repay them for saving the village by at least getting the pain and fatigue that Y/n got from her fight with Lord Heath. Magna, Asta and Noelle smiled then nodded at the woman handing her Y/n's body.

"Thank you!" a man said. "Don't mention it." Magna said. "It's nothing." Noelle flipped one of her pigtails as always. "You guys are our saviors." Something was moving under Asta's robe, "What's that?". A bird appeared, "A black bird?" Magna asked. The bird then flew up high then went towards the chapel, she found a pink stone then took it.

Lord Heath and his men were binded with Magna's Fire Magic and were leaning on a broken wall. "It turns there was actually one more and he was planning to escape, at least we were able to capture him." Magna said. "These guys are nothing." Noelle said crossing her arms.

Lord Heath and his two subordinates woke up, "So you are finally awake, you jerk?" Magna asked. "I'll be taking my rest first and once my magic is restored, I'll send you back to the Royal Capital on Crazy Cyclone." Magna pointed at his broomstick. Lord Heath sighed..."You jerks, I want you to make up for what you have done to these villagers for your whole life." Magna said in anger.

Lord Heath's mind: Has my magic been sealed off?

"When we get back to Magic Knights, I want you to spill it all out. Who are you and what's your motive?" 'I refuse." Lord Heath said. "It looks like the end is here." Something was glowing purple in Lord Heath's body.

Magna's mind: This guy has a magic guide in his body.

"Ice Magic, Ice Funeral" Lord Heath said then him and his subordinates turned into big chunks of ice. "W-what?" Magna was surprised. The big chunks of ice cracked into small pieces then they disappeared including their grimoires.

"Where does his determination come from? Is there someone who can make them swear their allegiance?" Magna asked. "Actually....they have a boss..he wanted to capture Y/n." Asta said gritting his teeth. "W-what?" Magna looked at him. "What an asshole!" Asta exclaimed.

"What is the reason behind their determination?" Magna asked again. "Life...WHAT DOES HE TAKE LIFE FOR?!" Asta yelled. "I can never agree with them. NEVER!"

(Sunset)

There was kid just sitting in front of Mr. Seihi's grave. "Nick, shall we go home?" the little girl holding her doll asked. "Mr. Seihi used to like the view from here." Nick said. "Yes" Magna appeared with Asta and Noelle. "Nick I heard about it. Mr. Seihi is the only one to stand up to those guys." Magna said. "Well...how's Miss Magic Knight? The one who had pointy ears?" A little girl asked. "Oh she's okay, she's just resting but we still need to bring her to a doctor.." Asta said then the little girl smiled. "Please keep this to yourself." Asta said smiling at her then she nodded.

Magna and Nick were having a talk about Mr. Seihi and his past. How he wanted to Magna to carry on his dream by becoming a Magic Knight.

"We have to go now." Magna said. The bird then appeared and kept pecking on Asta's head with the pink stone he found in the chapel. "It hurts!" Asta exclaimed. "Stupid bird!" "What has my head done to you?" "Do you want to fight?" "Stupid bird." Asta then noticed the stone, "What kind of stone is that?"

"That's strange, isn't that Mr. Seihi's amulet?" Nick asked. "What, then isn't this really precious? Let go, give it back to them." Asta tried to take the stone away from the bird. Nick laughed, "That bird seems to like it very much. I'll give it to you then as a small thank you gift for saving us." he said smiling. "Really?" The bird then sat on Asta's head.
