44. A Fight with the Diamond Kingdom #2

"I don't care what you think of me! You can think whatever you want!" Asta exclaimed.

Luck's mind: Somewhere I wouldn't notice...

"And I'm free to think whatever I want. I think of you as our friend!" Asta exclaimed.

Luck's mind: I...I do have friends that I can rely on...I'm sorry mother...I...I am not alone.*smiles*

Y/n's mind: Finally, you idiotic senpai...

"I'm gonna fight him." Y/n said. "No, you're not." Noelle grabbed her wrist. "Why?" Y/n asked as she pouted. "You're magic will go wild here." Noelle said. "Then let it go wild, as long as it takes that asshole down." Y/n said.

Noelle's mind: Why do they think alike? *sighs*

"Fighting together does sound like more fun!" Luck exclaimed. "That's right!" Asta exclaimed.

"Listen to her, missy!" Lotus exclaimed as he was busy fighting Asta. "What do you know?" Y/n asked in anger. "I know you're magic...I know who your parents are..." Lotus said. "W-what?" Everyone froze in shock. "Who are my parents then?" Y/n asked as she was looking down on the ground.

Noelle's mind: Y/n...

"They came from the Diamond Kingdom. They took you in when they found you in a basket surrounded by mana. You were in an abandoned building, crying." Hell Lotus said.

"Wait, so they're not actually my real parents?" Y/n asked. "Nope, they just took care of you then sent you away because your magic brought trouble to the Diamond Kingdom." Lotus said. "I brought trouble?" Y/n asked as she walked backwards. "You were known as a dangerous toddler in the Diamond Kingdom." Lotus said.

Y/n's mind: What did I actually do in the Diamond Kingdom? If he said I brought trouble to the Diamond Kingdom...I might...

"You might bring trouble to the Clover Kingdom too." Lotus said. "She wouldn't!" Asta shouted. "Yah! That's right!" Noelle exclaimed. "She's one of us!" Luck exclaimed.

Luck's mind: It does feel nice to have friends...

"But what if I-" Y/n was cut off by Asta when he smashed his sword onto the ground, "You won't and you will never! You would never bring trouble to this kingdom because Sister Lily, Father Orsi, the kids, me and Yuno are here!" Asta exclaimed. Asta, Noelle, Y/n and Luck stood in front of Lotus preparing their grimoires. "Y/n..." Noelle gestured to Y/n grimoire then Y/n gave her an "It's okay." gesture.

"Well, this doesn't look good. I guess I'll have to get serious now." Lotus said as his grimoire glowed brighter than the usual. Black smoke suddenly appeared surrounding them at a fast pace. "Smoke Creation Magic, Degenerate King's Smoke Prison!" Lotus exclaimed. "Kids, there's no escaping now."

"No matter who we're up against, Black Bulls will always win!" Asta exclaimed.

(With Golden Dawn)

"It's time for me to get serious." Yuno said. "What?" Klaus asked. Yuno's grimoire grew brightly and the winds he created were moving weirdly around the area. "Wind Creation Magic, Swift White Hawk and Wind Blades Shower." Yuno said as a big hawk made of wind was behind him and blades were around them.

Klaus's mind: Two spells at once? This power...He...

"The Golden Dawn will enter the treasure chamber first!" Yuno exclaimed. The hawk and blades were sent towards the man at a fast pace.

(With the Black Bulls)

"Take this!" Asta exclaimed as he kept slicing through the smoke magic but to know avail. Now matter how many times he slices through them, more smoke will appear and cover more space.

"I keep cutting it, but it keeps coming back!" Asta exclaimed. "Take this." Noelle said as she used her wand to help her control her water magic and cast it towards the smoke but it didn't work. "I should also-" "NO!" Noelle and Asta exclaimed at Y/n.

"I promise, I won't hurt you, like last time with the plant, my magic was okay that time." Y/n said. "You were able to attack but it but the damage you usually give is much stronger. So it means you were able to control a bit of it." Noelle said.

Y/n's mind: Oh shoot...I have been caught.

All of them have been trying to make the smoke disappear but it doesn't work at all. "What are we supposed to do?" Y/n asked. More smoke was created, it was covering their space which makes it hard for them to breath.

*coughs* "I don't think I can hang on." Y/n said as she kept coughing. "It's so smokey!" Asta exclaimed as smoke came out of his mouth. "This room is filling up with gas." Noelle said as she covered her nose and mouth. "We'll end up suffocating!" Y/n exclaimed.

Noelle's mind: We have to work fast to defeat the mage!

Luck's mind: I can sense his magic power so I can track his general location. But he'll dodge any attacks...Based on our exchange earlier, this smoke allows his to move faster and his ability to detect magic power is also heightened. The only way to hit him will be to catch him by surprise. But how do we do that when he can detect us?

"Luck-senpai, I know that you can detect him. I also can, I have a plan in mind." Y/n said. "Wow, you can also be a strategist too?" Asta asked. "I'm only doing this once because I hate thinking a lot, I feel like my brain cells will disappear." Y/n said rubbing her head. "You're exaggerating, Y/n." Luck giggled.

"Okay, Luck-senpai, I need you to use your senses, aim your attacks towards him, hearding him to that area. *points at an area*" Only one direction. Y/n said. "Noelle, concentrate your magic and release it in a split second when he's distracted. *points at Asta*

"And Asta, who doesn't have magic to give away his location, will deal the blow. Got that?" Y/n asked then everyone nodded in agreement. "Who knew you could think like that, Y/n?" Asta giggled. "You should strategize for us next time." Noelle smiled. "I hate thinking too much you know? My brain cells will burn out." Y/n said sheepishly. "You're exaggerating again." Luck said.

Luck's mind: I am not alone...*smiles*

Luck started attacking Hell Lotus leading him to the area where Y/n pointed. "Nice rapid-fire attacks." Lotus said. "Are you getting desperate? You won't be able to hit me like this. This won't clear the smoke either. You're just wasting your energy. This is the difference between you and me, experience in battle counts."

Y/n's mind: You're wrong... *smirks*

Asta's sword suddenly appeared and hit Lotus's arm which surprised him. "What?" Lotus spitted blood. "Got you!" Asta exclaimed. Asta sent Lotus flying towards a wall.

Noelle's mind: We did it!

"Y/n, your plan worked!" Luck exclaimed. "You planned it in a short time too!" Asta exclaimed with stars in his eyes. "You can be a strategist for our squad." Noelle said. "Hahaha...sorry guys but, I'm not really into planning because, my brain is small, in a simpler term, I'm basically an idiot. So...no can do." Y/n said.

"Teamwork really is essential!" Luck exclaimed.

Klaus and Mimosa were shock at the sight in front of them. "H-how is that possible?" Klaus asked. The sight in front of them was Yuno's attacks, falling because of the man's gigantic sword made of diamonds. All of them were on the verge of disappearing and Yuno was wounded and exhausted for casting two spells at a time.

"Be gone."
