17. A Royal?

'Hey, Asta, Y/n, this is your colleague, the other new recruit for this year." Magna said. "What?" "Colleague?" Y/n and Asta were surprised. "That sounds great!" Asta exclaimed. "Hi, I'm Asta from Hage Village! Let's do our best together! Nice to meet you!" The girl slapped his hand. "Don't simply talk to me. I don't sense any magic in you, you lowly little insect!" She said. Y/n's blood was boiling when she heard that last one.

"Hey! What is wrong with you?" Y/n stood in front of Asta looking upset. "Little insect?" Asta asked. "Lowly?" Magna asked. "I'm Noelle Sliva, a member of the royal family of this kingdom." "Heh, a royal..." Y/n said and looked away with disgust. "You...." Noelle was upset with Y/n.

"What? The...royal family?" Asta looked surprised. "Oh How impolite of me." Asta kept bowing, "A lowly insect like me that could easily be blown away by you was so rude!". "Asta..don't.." Y/n said glaring at Noelle and Asta just stopped. "As long as you understand." Noelle said calmly. "WAIT, WHO ARE YOU CALLING "THE LITTLE INSECT"?" Asta exclaimed. "Didn't we get into the Magic Knights at the same time? So what if you're a member of the royal family?"

"That's right Asta. Tell her that status doesn't matter!" Magna joined in. "Of course it does." She said. "Watch your mouth royal..." Y/n said giving off her murderous aura. Asta and Magna were terrified of Y/n so they calmed Y/n down for a bit then walked towards Noelle "How does it matter?" Asta and Magna asked. "Will a foolish commoner like you understand if I explain it to you?" Noelle asked. "That's it, this royal knows how to push all of my buttons." Y/n said angrily and Asta and Magna were trying to hold her to avoid her killing Noelle. "It looks like I can only use magic to show our differences."

Noelle preparing to attack, "H-hey!" Asta was feeling uneasy. "I'll let you know your worth." She said and sent a water ball towards Asta but then it hit Magna instead. "Magna-senpai!" Y/n and Asta exclaimed. "You stupid wench! You have got some nerves." Magna said. "What have you done to your senior?" He asked. "That's on you for standing at the wrong place. Who gave you permission to stand there?" She said. "Whattt?!" Asta exclaimed."Are you sure?" Y/n asked. "Noelle looked at her with disgust, "Don't just blame it on Magna-senpai, it looked like you couldn't control your magic that's why it hit Magna instead of Asta you stupid royal." Y/n said.

Magna's mind: This chick has sharp eyes....which is scary...

Noelle looked surprised at what Y/n said and suddenly acted normal. Magna stood up then walked towards Noelle.

"I'm your senior!"

"I'm a member of the royal family!"

"I don't care if you are a member of the royal family."
"Yami is the only one who's willing to take in a spoiled kid like you!"
"You should be thankful, you idiot!"
"I'm going easy on you because you're a girl but it seems like I have to teach you a lesson too!"

Noelle took off her Black Bulls robe and threw it on the ground. Y/n already looked like a devil in Asta's eyes when he saw Y/n's reaction when she just threw the robe as if it wasn't precious.

"It's not like I want to be in such a squad!"
"Not like her!" Noelle pointed at Y/n.
"Even though all the captains raised their hands including my brother, she had to choose the worst squad."

Noelle just walked away.

"You silly little girl!"
"How dare you do this?"

She stopped in her tracks and looked back.

"Black Bulls?"
"I don't want to be involved in such a filthy squad."
"Such a lousy and crappy Magic Knight squad isn't where a member of the royal family like me should belong!"

"You silly little girl!"
"Pick up the robe and apologize to Yami!"
"Apologize!"
"Apologize, you silly little girl!"

Magna kept shouting at Noelle while she was walking away with an arrogant expression. Asta looked like he was dead which concerns Y/n. "She threw away the robe that I fought so hard to get." He said. Y/n sighed and patted his head then Asta looked at Y/n. "If she was a royal with powerful magic, she wouldn't end up here plus I never saw her in the entrance exam so it means that she was sent here." Magna was in shock at what Y/n said and started patting her head and Y/n was curious. "You know, your way of thinking is awesome!" Magna exclaimed. "Thank you Magna-senpai!"

"You are right Y/n, I also didn't see her during the Magic Knights Entrance Exam." Asta said. "She said that all captains and including her brother raised their hands for you to join her squad...plus her last name is Silva..." Asta was thinking but then smoke came out of his ears. "It's the captain of the Silver Eagles Asta." Y/n said. "Oh the captain with a weird looking hairstyle." Asta asked and Magna just laughed at what he just asked. "You really are funny kid. Come on, let's go." Magna gestured Y/n and Asta back into the base.
