28. Shopping

"Y/n, Asta, Noelle!" Vanessa waved at you guys. "Vanessa-senpai!" Y/n exclaimed. She got off her broom then walked towards her. "Are you okay darling?" Vanessa was hugging Y/n tightly. "Yah, I'm okay. I heard that we are going shopping today." Y/n smiled. "Yup, we are so get ready, Asta you ride on Y/n's broom and Noelle will ride on my broom okay?"

"Hai Vanessa-senpai!"

(In the sky)

"Have you been to the castle town?" Vanessa asked. "No" Noelle said. "It makes sense. The royals or nobles rarely go to places where commoners live. What about you, Little Boy?" Vanessa asked Asta. "I merely passed by that place to take the Magic Knights Entrance Exam." Asta said. "You darling?" Vanessa asked Y/n. "Nope, I just heard about it, nothing else." Y/n said.

"Well, enjoy yourselves today."

"Y/n, aren't you feeling uncomfortable?" Noelle asked looking at Asta's hands holding onto Y/n's waist. "Nope, I'm perfectly fine, anyway I'm used to this because he used to get beaten a lot and will always hold onto my waist when we were young. Pffftt.." Y/n was about to laugh but then, "Okay, okay no more no more!" Asta exclaimed then Y/n nodded.

Noelle's mind: What's with their relationship? I just seem to care a lot. Damn it.

"At least I won't be pushed off AGAIN!" Asta exclaimed at Noelle. Noelle just crossed her arms and looked away.

Y/n's mind: These guys....were they problematic couples in their past life? They just look like one...

The Clover Kingdom is split between the Noble Realm, where the royals and nobles live. Then, there's the Common Real, where the commoners live, and the Forsaken Realm where the lowly live. Kikka, the castle town where Asta, Yuno and Y/n participated in the Magic Knights Entrance Exam is in the Common Realm.

(They arrived in Kikka)

"It's indeed very lively." Asta said with stars in his eyes. "It's crowded." Noelle said casually "It really is nice here, there's a lot of good stuff." Y/n said looking at each stall. Asta kept looking around and the memory of him, Yuno and Y/n hanging out came to his mind and smiled.

Asta's mind: I wish I could bring Sister Lily and the kids in the church here someday.
Out of nowhere..."What about me?" Father Orsi shouted.

Vanessa, Noelle and Asta stopped in their tracks then looked up, Y/n was wondering why they suddenly stopped so she did also. All of them saw Gauche standing on his broom stick with a stack of books. "Marie, my goddess. I'm coming over now. I can't hold back anymore. I wish to see the smile on your face soon." Gauche said having a nosebleed again.

"Father!" Someone shouted.

Y/n, Asta and Noelle looked at the restaurant at the side where the shouting came from. "This voice..." Noelle said.

(In the restaurant)

Charmy was looking at the person in front of her looking serious. The man across her smiled, "You're back again this month.". "Here I am again." Charmy said looking serious. "I won't lose this time." The man said. "So am I!" Charmy exclaimed.

The man gave Charmy a big meal, "Here's the super large serving with everything on it! Let's see if you can finish them all!" He exclaimed. "I'm digging in!" Charmy then held a knife and a fork and started eating the food at a fast pace.

Asta and Noelle were looking at Charmy through the window from the outside of the restaurant while Y/n was leaning on a wall not looking through the window. Asta looked like he was about vomit while Noelle just looked disgusted. "Just the sight of it makes me want to throw up." Noelle said.

(With Finral)

He was walking, looking around the stalls looking for girls until he spot one with kids around her. He ran towards her, "Miss, are you free? Would you like to have a drink with me?" Finral asked. "Do I look like I'm free?" The girl asked. "You can bring the kids along. I know a great place-", the girl slapped Finral, "These aren't my kids! They are my siblings!" she exclaimed. "We're rushing back to open the store, we don't have time for this." she said then walked away.

"Tough women aren't that bad either." Finral said rubbing his cheek.

He saw another woman and asked her out...As always...

(Back to Vanessa, Noelle, Asta and Y/n)

Asta was yelling with stars in his eyes while walking. "Little boy, don't walk too fast on your own." Vanessa said. "It makes me feel so excited!" Asta exclaimed.

"Are you guys really not going to buy anything?" Vanessa asked. Asta stopped and looked at Vanessa, "No, there are too many things. I don't know what to buy." Asta said. "Not for me." Noelle said. "I have nothing to buy in particular." Y/n said still looking around looking mesmerized.

"Hey, look at the robes."

"Aren't they Magic Knights?"

"That symbol..."

"Seriously? The Black Bull?"

"That's Vanessa, the Drunken Frenzy Witch."

"Are that cute girl and that little brat the members of the Black Bull too?"

"Look, there's another one."

"The girl with h/l h/c hair?"

"Yeah, she's hot."

"It's better for us to stay away from them."

"Aww, but I wanna talk to that h/c girl..."

"As if you have a chance.*laughs*"

Y/n's mind: I can hear you damn weirdos...

Y/n then glared at them so the boys just walked away fast avoiding her glare. Vanessa and Noelle just chuckled nervously at the sight.

"What's with the noises all of a sudden?" Noelle asked. "Ignore them, as long as there are Magic Knights, it helps to curb crime." Vanessa answered. "Shouldn't they be happy that at least there are Magic Knights here just in case something goes wrong." Y/n said clearly unsatisfied. "Well, our squad is known as the worst Magic Knight Squad, so I can't really tell." Vanessa said smiling. "Besides, some nice guys might come approaching us."

Noelle was chuckling nervously and Y/n was still in her thoughts.

Y/n's mind: They know nothing at all and just make assumptions. Hmph, jerks...

(Meanwhile)

"We've bought healing herbs." Noelle said. "And the shique ointment for disinfection. That's all for now. We've got what we needed, let's go somewhere quiet." Vanessa said. "Somewhere quiet?" Y/n tilted her head. "It's my personal collection." Vanessa winked at them. "Personal collection?"

They were in a small alley, "This is it!" Vanessa exclaimed. "Here?" Noelle asked being unsure. "But it's just a small alley." Asta said. "I bet there's a passageway, it's here somewhere, we just can't see it." Y/n said looking around. "That's right!" Vanessa exclaimed then she was walking towards a wall then stopped.. "But that's a dead end." Asta said. Vanessa giggled then walked through the wall. "What?" Asta shouted. "Well, let's go." Y/n said and Noelle was in utter shock. "All right, quickly come over here!" Vanessa went out of the wall and exclaimed.
