Three weeks later and me and Newt have gotten closer. And not from the pages of a book but through actual conversation!

The first thing Newt wanted to do was meet the new greenie and see his friends. I bet he also just wanted to stretch his legs.

It took awhile before he got the hang of his makeshift crutches. Ugh! Why couldn't WICKED have sent us with real medical equipment?

When I finally got Newt out, I stayed with him the whole time, helping him out if he needed it. He met the greenie, Ted, and then went off to get lunch from Fry.

"Hey Newt! Glad to see you back on your feet!" Fry smiles. Newt smiles back while he grabs a plate.

"Feels better to be back on them!" He replies before walking away with me behind him.

We sit down and Alby joins us. "Hey Newt, want to take a walk later?" Newt nods and then they Include me In conversation.

When we were all done, Alby said: "I'll stay with Newt, Nick wants to see you." I nod my head and go off to find Nick.

I find him in the gardens. "Hey Nick! You wanted to see me?" I ask.

"Ya actually. Tonight we'll have a gathering about which job we should give you. We'll also talk about sleeping arrangements." He informs me.

"Why can't I just sleep outside with everyone else?" I asked.

"Because I've been told about the catcalls. And Newt, Alby, Minho, and even Fry have voiced their concerns to me." I groan in my head, but nodded towards Nick.

"Alright. When is this?" I ask.

"You'll get an early dinner with the rest of the keepers and then do It during dinner."

I nod my head. "Good that." I say before walking off to my clearing in the deadheads.

I just needed a moment to think over what has happened the past few days.

I seriously could've stopped Newt from getting his limp!

But I was just so selfish by wanting to go home... I forgot these guys wanted to find home too.
