Trapped (Full Story)

Chapter 10

*y/n's P.O.V*

I had prepared my trap if anyone came. And then came along Alby and Bark.

Alby was dumb enough to not see my rope, and Bark answered to my whistle.

He ran to me and I scratched behind his ear, making him wag his tail. "Who have you brought me Bark?" I whispered. He only wags his tongue in response.

"Who are you?" Alby's voice asks. I stop and look up at him. I stand up and Bark runs back to Alby, looking between us both, as if showing his dad the new friend he made.

I walk near the light and respond in a deep voice: "Who says you can ask the questions? It's obvious who's on the right end of this fight."

"And it's obvious someone hasn't gotten their big-boy voice yet," Alby says, rolling his eyes.

"Fine." I say in my normal voice. "You wanna know who I am?" I step into the light and Alby's face turns into one of surprise.

I take my machete and put It to his throat. "What do you want Alby?" I sneer.

His shocked look doesn't leave as he says: "you're a girl!"

I roll my eyes and move the blade closer to him. "Answer me," I demand.

He nods his head and replies: "I was only looking for the thief, which is you. But you're a girl! How is there a girl in the Glade?!" He asks.

I roll my eyes and bring my blade to my side. "You want answers? Well I'll give them to you, but for a cost, got it?" I say.

"What's the cost?" He asks. I bend down to his eye level and reply: "You'll have to agree to the terms I have. But you'll only hear those if you hear my story. Got It, shank I believe is the term?" Alby nods his head and I straighten.

"Good. Now don't talk while I explain." I say, tying his hands together before slowly lowering him down and sitting him up.

"Remember, shut your trap while I explain or else I might have to send you to meet my fishy friends in the pond." I say.

I hate being so rude, but I can't let anyone think I'm weak.

He nods his head and I begin the story I had made out of boredom.
