"Who's there?" I yell, jumping to my feet, scanning the dark woods.

"Just me, no one else." Philip's voice calls, making me instantly relax and sit back down.

"What can I help you with Philip?" I ask as he sits next to me.

"You can help me by letting me help you," he says. "What was up with you and Newt? You two have seemed like best friends lately! Why did that change?" He asks.

I shrug and reply: "Newt thought girls were weak and that rilled me up so I challenged Gally to prove him wrong." Philip nods his head and says: "That was a stupid move. And by the way you fought Gally and considering you survived a night in the maze, I can't see how he'd think you were weak."

I smile and fiddle with a pebble in my hands. "Thanks Philip," Philip smiles before placing his arm around me, keeping me warm.

"Anything for you y/n,"

I smile up at him before leaning up against him. At least some boys weren't bad. I had Philip. Maybe he would be enough for me.

"Hey, How about we ask Nick for a day off and we'll spend it together to get Newt off your mind?" Philip asks.

I think about it for a minute. "Sure. I don't see why not. I'll just ask Clint or Jeff to handle Newt." Philip smiles and rubs my arm encouragingly.

"Thanks Philip. You've been awesome these last few days, thanks." I say. Philip smiles before kissing my forehead.

"Course, anything for you."

I smile and turn my attention to the pond, watching the moon's reflection and the fish occasionally disturbing it. I would have to ask Nick if I could have my own room soon, I just didn't feel like going back to Newt right then. My best friend basically told me I was weak and wasn't any good.

I'm honestly surprised at how long I've lasted here. I just wish I could've gone home.

But all these guys need me, so they can go home too.

Before I know it, I fall asleep on Philip's shoulder.
