It was time for the bonfire and Nick was explaining that I had a surprise planned.

"Thanks Nick!" I say, turning to face the others. "Alright, so back in my glade, at every party we had, we had s'mores." The gladers all exchanged confused looks.

"Is that a game?" Winston asks.

"Or a challenge?" Gally asks hopefully.

I roll my eyes and reply: "no. We had those too, but these were the best! Fry, you mind grabbing my box?" Fry jumps up and goes to grab it. When he comes back, he sets it down and I thank him. I open It up and pull out one of the roasting sticks.

"Is that a s'more?" One of the gladers ask. I ignore the question as I grab the marshmallow.

"Alright, now watch closely, ok?" I say, putting the marshmallow on the stick. "So when making a s'more, you grab a marshmallow and put It on the stick. Then you are going to roast the mallow till It's a nice golden brown. But I knew some people who liked it crisp." I shrug as I demonstrated. "A good way to get a nice golden color Is to slowly rotate the stick, like you do when roasting a pig," I explain as I show them, getting a little closer than I needed to do so it would roast faster.

Only a minute later, It was a beautiful golden-brown. "Ok, next I'll need Fry to help me," Fry jumps up again and I say: "So Fry will grab me a granola cracker and snap It in half and then let me put the mallow on one of the crackers," he does as I Instruct. "Next you'll get a piece of chocolate, put it on the mallow, and then make a sandwich with the other cracker. And bam! A s'more! All that's left is to eat it!" I smile, showing off my work.

All the gladers stare In wonder before clapping.

"Ok, go ahead and try it yourselves!" I smile. All the boys run up in a stampede and I barely avoid getting trampled.

I go over to Newt and ask: "S'more?" He smiles and takes it.

I then wait to see his reaction.
