"Are all the girls back in your maze as pretty as you?" Philip asks, making me blush.

"Well, um, I think all the girls back home are prettier than me. But I don't really care," I shrug. "Besides, we had a rule in the Glade that we had to get a blessing before we could date. Our two leaders were kinda strict," I say, laughing as I remember one foster couple I had. They were my favorites. And I really missed them.

Philip nods his head and then asks: "Do you miss it?"

I nod my head and bring my knees to my chest. "Of course! I miss it everyday! I wonder if they still think I'm alive, or are still sad, or have even moved on. But I just try to forget it. I'm here now, so I might as well make the best of it." I shrug.

"I can help with that," Philip says. Before I can ask what he means, his lips are on mine and I push him away.

"Philip! What are you doing?!" I yelp.

"Helping you relax," he says in a husky voice, kissing me again, putting his hand behind my head for a better hold.

I shove him away again and get up. "No Philip! I don't want this!" I say.

Philip's on his feet quickly and he slaps me. "Well I do, and you have to listen to me!"

"No I don't!" I argue.

Philip shoves me down and then gets on top of me. "You do now," He says as I feel something lightly cut my arm. Before I can scream, Philip's lips are on mine again.

"Why are you doing this?" I say when he breaks away. "I thought you were on my side! You said I could take care of myself!" Tears begin filling my eyes but I don't dare let them spill.

"I know you can, and that's something I want in my girl when she carries my kids," he says before kissing me again.

I try pushing him off but he just cuts me again. I keep trying tho until I finally realize that every time I fought, the more I would get hurt.

He then began to unbutton my shirt and took off my tank top and shorts, luckily leaving on my undergarments.
