Trapped (Full Story)

Chapter 9

*Alby's P.O.V.*

We had them!

We had the shucking culprit right in our hands!

Maybe I should've made Fry jump them instead of Jack. Ugh. Oh well.

On their way out tho, a part of their pants ripped. Now, I had to entrust Bark to smell out the culprit. I can't believe I've gotten this low.

"Good luck shank," Newt says before I bend down to become eye contact with Bark.

"Alright boy, you're gonna sniff this fabric and show me to our thief, got it?" I state. Bark only responds by smelling the fabric.

I expect him to lead me to maybe one of the sloppers or maybe even a builder, but instead he begins trotting to the deadheads.

Maybe a bagger?

I follow Bark who happily makes his way through the deadheads. We're walking for who knows how long when we finally come into a clearing near the edge of the Glade. In the clearing is a small pond, but that's it. No one's been there!

Then I look closer and see a person hidden under a blanket. I grin as I sneak upon my culprit. I tiptoe to the sleeping glader, bending down a few inches away.

I slowly bring my hand to the top of the blanket near their head. I snatch It and then whip it off. "Ah-ha! Caught ya! You shucking thief!" I yell before freezing.

"What?" I ask as I see the backpack and other supplies.

What was this?!

Before I could even go back to looking around the clearing, something tightened around my feet and the next thing I know, I'm being hung upside down from my feet.

Bark trots up to me and sniffs my face as I slowly turn in circles. "Go get help Bark! Go!" I snap. The only response I got tho was him licking my face.

"Great." I mutter, trying to push Bark away.

Then someone whistled and Bark stopped, his head alert as he looked In the direction of the whistle. The whistle sounded again and Bark's face lit up as he ran towards the silhouette in the woods.

The person bends down and pets Bark, scratching behind his ear.

"Who are you?" I ask.

So... I'm not sure if I want to continue putting this story on here because I'm already up to Imagine 249 or something on Pinterest. This is originally a Pinterest series anyways.
