Jack drives to Jackie's house in Georgetown with a smile on his face. He was surprised that she finally reached out to accept his offer. Tonight he plans to wine and dine her, possibly rekindle what they had several years ago.
He never forgot about Jackie truly, he just couldn't remember her name. She was special and looking back on what happened he should've been honest with her. She was the one who got away. A good woman who had so much love to give. He, immature and too scared to deal with the emotions he began to develop for her. Even though their conversation was brief he can tell she has changed. Now he could never play the game they once played. She has matured, became an independent woman, most importantly a mother to two girls.
Two daughters. He's never gone out with a woman who has children. He knows that their priority will be their child. A man like him that is looking for a good time wouldn't want to interfere with a woman's time with her children. Considering that he awaited Jackie's call and he made time for her. Something he's never done before.
Jack arrives in front of Jackie's home and parks. He gets to the door and knocks.
"Who is it?" he hears a little voice inquire from the other side of the door.
"It's Jack," he replies.
Just then he hears the locks click then the door opens. He looks down and the sight before him renders him speechless. The little girl in front of him has his greenish-gray eyes, his face, and the sandy blonde hair he had as a kid. She is the feminine version of him but pretty.
"Hi I'm Caroline," the little girl says.
"Hi I'm Senator Jack Kennedy," he replies confused as to how a little girl he's never met could look like him.
"You must be my mommy's new friend," Caroline says to him.
"Yes I am," Jack replies before he notices another presence in the room.
"Ok I'll tell her you're here," Caroline says before running up the stairs.
"Hi." He says closing the door.
"Hello, Jack. Surprised to see you again. I'm sure you don't remember me, I'm Jackie's sister Lee, " she says looking him up and down.
Before he can reply he hears footsteps coming down the stairs. He looks to see Caroline along with another little girl who has brown hair like Jackie's but with the same eyes as his.
What the hell is going on?
He has questions and once he gets Jackie alone he plans to ask them.
Just then Jackie comes downstairs in a black strapless dress with a split that stops just above her knee.
Wow! She looks gorgeous.
Her chocolate brown hair is cut short and full of curls. Her eyes look bright highlighted by black eyeliner. Those pink lips look incredibly pouty. Hopefully, he'll be kissing them after dinner.
"Hello Senator," Jackie says as she goes to pick up her coat.
"Hello, Jackie. You look beautiful," Jack says trying not to stare.
Right now its too many things going on for his mind to process. First, how are there two little girls in front of him, one who looks like his twin, and the other who looks like Jackie with his eyes? His eye color is not common so for these two to have said color leads to him to wonder. Secondly, the woman who just came down the steps just took his breath away.
"Senator," he hears Jackie's voice pulling him out of his trance.
"Yes, I'm sorry for staring you just look amazing."
