Jack is sitting in his office listening to the radio while he gets some work done. He informed Mrs. Lincoln that he was coming in on Saturday to catch up on some work while Jackie takes the girls to visit her mother and stepfather at Merrywood*.

He leans back in the chair and looks at the mall. It's pretty busy near the Capitol considering it's a weekend day.

He thinks about the status of his and Jackie's "relationship," and quite frankly it's not going as good as he hoped. He knows he has a lot of work to do when it comes to regaining Jackie's trust. Still, he wish she wouldn't be so stubborn.

They kissed a couple of times, but it seems that those kisses had no effect on her. He doesn't want to do too much as he doesn't want her to get the idea that he wants to bed her. This is partially true, but he respects her too much to treat her like one of his playthings. Besides his heart would never allow it.

Even though Jackie is back in his life he has never forgotten about her. Those feelings of love he felt never left. Then her giving birth to his two beautiful little girls made him fall for her even more. Obviously, it must be fate that wants them to be together. How will he be able to prove to her that another chance won't end in heartbreak?

Just then he hears something on the radio that interrupts his thoughts.

"This just in, it has been revealed that Presidential Candidate Senator John F. Kennedy has fathered two twin daughters who are named Arabella and Caroline, age six. This source says that the mother of Senator Kennedy's daughters is Jacqueline Bouvier, a local journalist who works for the Times-Herald here in Washington..."

Jack turns and looks at the radio, not believing what he is hearing.

"This source also confirmed Senator Kennedy and Ms. Bouvier had once dated six years ago and apparently had ended their relationship. Why has Senator Kennedy never mentioned his daughters before? Hopefully, we will get those answers at the Senator's next press conference. Now on to other news..."

Jack turns off the radio. He can't believe his personal life has made headlines. Most importantly Jackie and his daughter's names have been revealed.

He runs a hand through his hair, anxiety, and frustration are starting to run through him. He loves his daughters and is a proud father, but he wanted to introduce them to the world on his own terms. Now someone has beaten him to it. Who in the hell could've released this information?

The only people that know about this are of course his family and Jackie. He knows none of his family members would say anything. As private as Jackie is he knows she wouldn't part her lips to anyone. So who could it be?

He picks up the phone and calls Bobby. They got to get a handle on this before it gets out of control.

Jackie's POV

Just as Jackie makes her way towards the kitchen she hears someone calling her name. She turns to see Lee
following behind her.

"Hey what are you doing here?" Jackie asks turning to hug her sister.

"Just coming to see my big sister and my nieces. Also, to visit mummy and Hughdie," Lee replies continuing to follow Jackie into the kitchen.

"Auntie Lee!!" Caroline exclaims as she sees her namesake.

"Caroline, Arabella!" Lee exclaims bending down to hug her nieces.

"Would you like a sandwich Lee," Jackie asks as she makes herself a sandwich.

"I would love one Jacqueline, thank you," Lee replies with a smile.

"Jacqueline, dear I can get one of the servants to make the sandwiches," Janet says to her daughter while she watches her granddaughters color.

"It's fine mother, I am capable of making a few sandwiches," Jackie replies looking for a knife.

"Fine, if that's what you want," Janet replies while watching her eldest daughter navigate her kitchen.

Following the completion of Caroline and Arabella as well her and Lee's sandwich. Jackie has a seat next to her younger sister at the counter while her daughters eat at the kitchen table.

"So has the Senator tried to lure you into his bedroom yet?" Lee whispers with a smirk.

She looks at her younger sister and shakes her head.

"No, he hasn't Caroline," Jackie replies.

"Yes mommy," the younger Caroline replies looking at her mother.

"I'm sorry sweetie I was talking to your Aunt."

"Ok mommy," Caroline replies before taking a sip of her milk.

"I'm just saying it's only a matter of time Jackie. I think it's good that he is doing all he can to be a good father, but I can't help but feel like there is more to this than what he is portraying."

Jackie takes a sip of her juice before she responds, "You don't think I am aware. He is not that bad of a person, my goodness y'all make him sound like he's a criminal. I feel he has our best interest. Do I think there is a little more to it, of course? It's a little hard to figure it out because he's hardly around. Between campaigning and his work we've barely seen him."

Lee nods as she drinks her juice.

"He calls and he has Bobby stop by to make sure we're ok. He's making more of an effort to come home to be with the girls, but he's still campaigning for long periods of time."

"To be honest Jacks, the reason we're so concerned is he's telling you that he wants a second chance to be with you. You're the one that got away. Yet, he's sleeping with different women throughout Washington, and who knows how many he's sleeping with while he's gone."

"I know that Lee. Jack is who he is and that's how he was raised. We're not dating and most importantly we're not married. So he can do what he want."
