Kara dash through the snow and ice. Away from the Fire Nation soldiers. Panting, she examined her next move.
"Kara!"
She turned to see her friend Kaya waving from her home. Kara rushed inside.
"What are we going to do?"
"It's okay Kara. We'll figure something out."
"No not that. Well, it is. B-but what if we get caught? What if we're killed?" Kara said with tears in her eyes.
"Listen to me. Your mother told me to guard you with my life. And that's what I'm going to do. Remember this Kara, we'll get through this. We've always have, and we always will." Kaya said holding Kara's shoulders. Tears flowed down her face as she holds Kaya's hand.
"You've been like a mother to me. You, Hakoda, Katara, and Sokka are like my second family to me."
She embraced Kaya in a tight hug. She felt her anxiousness melt away, as if her storm clouds evaporated giving way to complete sunshine. Or so she thought.
Suddenly the entrance opened, as fire nation soldier enters.

Amaya's POV
I woke up from my sleep in a pool of sweat. Was I dreaming? What happened to those women? The night was quiet. Well all mostly quiet, as loud snores echoed through the chamber. I tip-toed out of the chamber and went into another chamber to practice my firebending. A couple hours later, I came back to the chamber to find Aang waking up on Appa yawning, and rubbing his eyes.
"Morning sleepy head." I said.
"Your up early." Aang said with a smile.
"Yeah I had a rough night." I said rubbing my soar neck. Suddenly Aang grows alert, "What wrong?" I asked. Aang rises and uses his glider to airbend a bomb away.
The sudden explosion woke up everyone up.
Aang rushed back inside and shut the doors close. We rushed to a place away from the warzone. Toph and Haru, bore a whole through a wall using earth bending.
"Come on! We can get out of here!" Toph said pointing to the exit. We tried to get Appa into the hole when Zuko turns towards the airships.
"What are you doing?" I asked.
"Go ahead! I'll hold them off. I think this is a family visit." Zuko said, as he runs off.
"Zuko! No!" yelled Aang.
"Come on! We've gotta get out of here!" Sokka said, as Aang, Katara, Sokka, and myself begin pulling on the reins together in an attempt to budge Appa. We pulled on Appa's reins but to no avail.
"I can't get him to go in there! Appa hates tunnels!"
"Aang, there's no way we can fly out of here." Katara said.
"We'll have to find a way!" Aang declared.
"But how? Appa is afraid of tunnels, not to mention that there are Fire Nation airships blowing bombs outside." I said pointing in the opposite direction.
"We need to split up. Take the tunnel and get to the stolen airship." Sokka said to the others.
Katara turns around and suddenly grows cross. " No!" she said, as she walks up to her father. "The Fire Nation can't separate our family again!"
"It'll be okay. It's not forever." Hakoda reassured her. Katara hesitates before hugging her dad and running back to Aang. Haru and I stand with each other.
