The sky is mostly cloudy and the clouds reflect the light of the dying sun. Aang and I was gathering some food when we meet Sokka and Katara stare angrily at each other.

" Okay, we got the grub if you guys got the- "The siblings turn away from each other in anger with their arms folded, "Hey, where's the campfire? And what happened to the tent?" asked Aang,

"Why don't you ask Miss Know-It-All, Queen of the Twigs," Sokka said in exasperation.

"Oh yeah? Well, you're Mister Lazy Bum, King of the Tents!" Katara retorted as she picks up a twig and throws it after Sokka. Sokka then turns around, looking angrily at her.

"Are they okay?" Aang whispered to me, "It's just what siblings do. Believe me back home, Suki and I get into arguments like this, but for more reasonable reasons." I replied.

"Okay, listen guys, harsh words won't solve problems, action will. Why don't you just switch jobs?" suggested Aang.

"Sounds good," Katara said, "Whatever," joined Sokka.

The next day we then stand before a huge canyon, the scenery was all the more breathtaking.

"There it is, guys, The Great Divide," Aang said, as he showed us the picturesque canyon before us. It's winding chasms was almost like they were created from earthbenders themselves.

" Wow, I could just stare at it forever," Katara said in awe, "Okay, I've seen enough," Sokka said turning his back heading towards Appa.

"How can you not be fascinated Sokka?"  Katara asked "This is the largest canyon in the entire world,"

"Then I'm sure we'll be able to see it very clearly from the air while we fly away," Sokka said.

Just then a man wearing white clothing shove past Sokka, "If you're looking for the canyon guide, I was here first!"

"Ooh, canyon guide? Sounds informative," Katara said in delight, "Sounds dangerous" I replied, Katara looked at me with a tepid expression.

"Believe me, he's more than a tour guide, he's an earthbender," Sokka strides right behind him, mimicking his every sentence, "And the only way in and out of the canyon is with his help," the an paused and looked behind him, Sokka then gives and embarrassing smile then come right next to us, "And he's taking my tribe across next," the man continued.

"Calm down, we know you're next," Sokka said,

"You wouldn't be so calm if the Fire Nation destroyed your home and forced you to flee! My whole tribe has to walk thousands of miles to the capital city of Ba Sing Se,"

"You're a refugee!" Katara said,

"Huh, tell me something I don't know," scoffed the man.

Just then a large group of poorly dressed people walking toward us.

"Is that your tribe?" asked Katara,

"It most certainly is not!"  said the man almost insulted by Katara's question.  He turned his face away from the group of people "That's the Zhang tribe, a bunch of low-life thieves. They've been the enemies of my tribe for a hundred years," he the whistles at them, "Hey, Zhangs! I'm saving a spot for my tribe so don't even think about stealing it!"

"Where are the rest of the Gan Jin? Still tidying up their camp site?" asked the Zhang leader.

"Yes, but they sent me ahead of them to hold a spot," said the Gan jin man,

"I didn't know the canyon guide took reservations."

" Ha, of course you didn't! That's the ignorance I'd expect from a messy Zhang. So unorganized and ill-prepared for a journey," the Gan jin man said pointing at them, The Zhang tribe members yell out in protest, then suddenly I hear rocks clearing,
