We made it to the Serpents pass. It's a long, steep mountain with a straight passage.

"Look at this writing! How awful!" Ying said, watching the words on the entrance post in sheer horror.

"What does it say?" Toph asked Katara goes to the post, "It says, "abandon hope, "

" How can we abandon hope? It's all we have!" Ying said as tears stream down her face, then goes and comfort his wife.

"I don't know. The monks used to say that hope was just a distraction, so maybe we do need to abandon it,"

"What are you talking about?" Katara asked,

"I think Aang is saying we need to focus on what we're doing right now and that's getting across this path," I said, holding my chin in thought, "Amaya's right," Aang said, "We need to focus on what we're doing right now,"

"Okay, if you say so," Katara said, a few miles within the pass, a lowly Fire nation ship sailed across the blue ocean, "The Fire Nation controls the western lake. Rumor has it they're working on something big on the other side of it and don't want anyone to find out what it is," Suki informed.

We all pass by a sailing Fire Nation ship. A part of the rock gives out, causing Than to fall. I stopped it from falling and lifts him back up with earthbending. I turned to see Suki in a state of shock, suddenly the fire nation ship stopped.

"They've spotted us! Let's go, let's go!" Sokka cried as the fireship shoots a fireball in our direction.  Aang gets on his glider and deflects the fireball back. We quickly rushed over just in time, hours later, at sunset, we set up their camp at the top of the mountain.  I quickly took the scroll from the desert library and quickly picked up where I left off. Now in the days of Avatar Salai, when the world was under threat by the great resurgence, they were helped by a boy named Peng age 15 years who claimed to be the descendant of the first avatar, Avatar Wan. This phenomenon is known as the. The page was torn. Great, so much for knowledge, I thought.

"Whatcha reading?" Suki asked, almost giving me a heart attack as I frantically tried to hide the scroll, "Nothing interesting," I said, look if you were in my shoes, how would you tell your sister that our ancestor was the great Kyoshi. Suki sat next to me, looking up in at the stars.

"Brings back memories when we were kids," Suki said, I looked up and saw the countless stars in the sky, "We used to play hide and seek with the other kids in the village catching fireflies, then lie down under a blanket of stars,"

I chuckled, "Yeah, I missed those days," I turned to Suki, who was still reminiscing, "So what's the thing with Sokka," Suki shot up, "What? W-what about it?" she asked, blushing, "Wait, do you- do you like Sokka?" Suki deflated in defeat, "Alright, I may have a crush on him," I couldn't believe my ears, first Yue, now Suki is falling head over heels for Sokka?

"Did you tell him how you feel?" I asked; Suki slouched back, hugging her legs, "No, I don't know if I'm too chicken, or if I'm too confident,  but what if he laughs at me? What if-" I placed my index finger on her lips, stopping her rambling, "It wouldn't hurt to try," I said, Suki, relaxed, " You know what? You're right, thanks, sis, you're the best," Suki said, hugging me, "So, care to explain about the earth bending? And why you have the ancient relics in your bag?"

"Oh, yeah, you see, urgh! How can I explain this," I told Suki about what transpired after I left Kyoshi Island, about the dream I had about the comet, and the sudden visit by Kyoshi while I was passed out during the trial at Chin; Suki jaw dropped as if she couldn't believe it.

"So, you're saying that we're related to Kyoshi?" Suki asked, I nodded sheepishly, Suki looked down on her Kyoshi uniform, "I've always known I had a strong connection, even though I'm not a bender and all that. S-So that's why you had those headaches on Kyoshi day,"
