We were all sleeping in our newly refurbished beds. I turned lazily, opening my eyes to meet a guard at the head of my bed. Before I could scream, they took all of us except Aang and dragged us to a small room.

"Let us go!" I demanded.

"Quiet, before the king doesn't give you a chance for the Avatar to free you," said the guard,

"It's okay Amaya, just keep calm," Sokka reassured us,

A few minutes later the guards earth bent the walls down, revealing Aang with and the king, the guards then gave us each a colored ring, Sokka got blue, Katara got teal, and I got violet,

"Those delightful rings are made of pure jennamite, also known as creeping crystal. It's a crystal that grows remarkably fast."  We tried to get it off but it wouldn't budge,

By nightfall your friends will be completely covered in it.  Terrible thing, really, I can stop it, but only if you cooperate." the king explained,  the rings glowed again the started to form upwards, Sokka's eyes widened "Ah! It's already creeping!" he said in a panic,

"I'll do what you want." Aang said to the king. The king gave a smile that send shivers down my spine, he is not only deranged he's flat out mad.

__________

We entered a cavern, where spiked rocked formed above and below next to a waterfall,  the rings already taken form on our hands making it's way to our arms,

"It seems I've lost my lunch box key and I'm hungry. Ooh, there it is! Would you mind fetching it for me?" the king asked, pointing to a key in the waterfall,

Aang airbends to the base of the fall and plunges into the waterfall. He manages to climb up the rock face to the base of the ladder and grasp it with one hand. "Ooh, climbing the ladder. No one's ever done that before," the king said sarcastically,

Panting, Aang rests a moment between two stalagmites, leaps from them to the stalactites above, and closer to the waterfall still high by the roof of the cavern. He dives into the fall above the key and tries to grab the key as he falls with the water; the rush of the water carries him past and in a moment he shoots out again, keyless.

The king mocked, "That's right. Keep diving head in. I'm sure it'll work eventually."

Anger boiled, I can't bend  because my right hand is engulfed in this....thing, but then Aang  cuts a stalagmite with air bending and throws it like a spear at the key, accelerating it with another air blast. The stone spear snags the chain suspending the key, and carries it out of the waterfall. The spear pierces the stone wall above the King's balcony, the key now dangling right in front of Bumi.

"There! Enjoy your lunch! I want my friends back now!"  Aang said,

"Ah, not yet. I need help with another matter. It seems I've lost my pet, Flopsie."
