The air was cold and crisp, as Appa lazily flies above the ocean. I was busy sewing Sokka's pants while Katara was looking a far in the distance. Sokka's hanging lazily over the back of Appa's saddle.
"I'm not one to complain, but can't Appa fly any higher? Sokka asked, "I have an idea! Why don't we all get on your back and you could fly us to the North Pole?!" Aang said irritably, "I'd love to," replied Sokka Climb on everyone, Sokka's ready for take off,"
"Should we stop them?" Katara asked, I didn't hear what they were saying, "Hmm?" I said, looking up to face her. Katara rolled her eyes, and sighs, "Look, we're all just a little tired and cranky because we've been flying for two days straight,"
" And for what?" Sokka snaps "We can't even find the Northern Water Tribe. There's nothing up here."
Suddenly water in front of Appa rises and solidifies to ice spikes, Aang screaming in fright, his eyes wide in horror, as he violently yanks the reins to this right in an attempt to avoid the sudden obstacle. We screamed as we held on to dear life to the sides of the saddle. Appa swerves who suddenly shoots up as another ice spike manifests right in from of him. The ice breaks, but he is thrown off balance and catapulted away. Katara myself and Sokka who loudly scream in fright hold on to each other. Suddenly I saw water tribe ships, with waterbenders surrounding us.
"They're waterbenders!" Katara said happily, "We found the Water Tribe!"
"Thank goodness," I sighed with relief.
A few hours later of convincing them they suddenly realize who we were. They escorted us to the entrance of the city. The magnificent wall of the city comes into view much to everyone's amazement.
"There it is!" Aang said,
"The Northern Water Tribe." joined Katara.
"We're finally here," Sokka and I said in unison.
A portion of the icy wall is lowered, allowing them to enter into the city. Canal workers use waterbending to transport the group into the city.
"I can't believe how many waterbenders live up here!" Katara said in fascination.
"We'll find a master to teach us, no problem," Aang said to Katara.
We passed through the channels of the city, catching the attention of several civilians who run over to spectate us. Some noticing who I am, waved and smiled at me. Aang waves happily back at the people. I looked to Sokka who looked as if he was daydreaming, I looked as saw that it was my cousin Yue, riding in a gondola.
"This place is beautiful," Katara said,
"Yes, she is," Sokka said as he sighs. "Oh, is that Yue," I waved at her. Yue's face lit up as she waved gently at me.
"Wait, you know her?" Sokka asked, "Yeah, she's my cousin," I replied, "She's you cousin?!" Sokka asked surprised, "Yeah, it's a very complicated family tree, I tell you later," I said patting Sokka's back. We then stopped at the main palace of the water tribe, my uncle Arnook was standing his face met mines as I ran to him.
"Amaya!" he said as though he couldn't believe it was me, "Hi uncle," I said giving him a hug, "It's been so long since I've seen you," he said as we pulled away from each other, " You are almost as tall as I am. How's your mother?"
"She's doing well," I looked and saw Aang, Katara, and Sokka all standing there waiting to be introduced. "Oh I've almost forgotten, Uncle these are my friends, Sokka and Katara from the southern water tribe, and this is the avatar, Aang,"
"It is an honor to meet you all," he said bowing to the group. "Wait till Pakku hears about your arrival,"
"Uh, Pakku?" Katara whispers, "He's a water bending legend," I replied. Yue then enters, "Hello father," she said her voice soft and elegant as her personality.
