"We need to talk to you,"
"They're here to overthrow you," Long Feng said turning to king.
"No, we're on your side. We're here to help," Sokka said, "You have to trust us," Katara joined. The king stands up from his thrown, "You invade my palace, lay waste to all my guards, break down my fancy door, and you expect me to trust you?" he says with an aggravated tone.
"He has a good point," I said, "If you are on my side, then drop your weapons and stand down!" the King ordered. We looked at each other for a moment. Aang drops his staff, Katara puts her water whip back in her water skin, Sokka drops his machete, I folded back the metal fans and Toph drops the boulder she is levitating.
"See? We're friends, Your Earthiness," Aang said with a nervous smile. But the king was not amused, suddenly Long Feng signals the Dai Li to cuff their arms with rock gloves.
"Detain the assailants!" he said with as he smirked sinisterly.
"But we dropped our weapons. We're your allies," Sokka said.
"Make sure the Avatar and his friends never see daylight again,"
"The Avatar? You're the Avatar?" the King asked pointing to Sokka, "
"Uh, no. Him," Sokka says pointing to Aang.
"Over here," Aang said as he effortlessly breaks free of his earth cuffs and raises his arms then re-attaches the cuffs.
"What does it matter, Your Highness? They're enemies of the state," Long Feng persuaded.
"Perhaps you're right," the king said, suddenly the bear sniff and lick Aang, "Though Bosco seems to like him, I'll hear what he has to say,"
Aang walked forward, "Well, sir, there's a war going on right now. For the past one hundred years in fact. The Dai Li's kept it secret from you. It's a conspiracy to control the city, and to control you,"
"A secret war? That's crazy!"
"Completely!"
"Long Feng didn't want us to tell you, so he stole our sky bison to blackmail us. And blackmail is the least of his crimes; he brainwashed our friend!"
"All lies. I've never even seen a sky bison, Your Majesty. Frankly, I thought they were extinct,"
"Your claim is difficult to believe. Even from an Avatar," the King said, as he sits down on his thrown trying to process what was said. Then Long Feng whispered something in the Kings ear.
"What's he saying?" Sokka asked, "I don't know, something about not trusting us I guess," then there was a long pause,
"I have to trust my advisor,"
The agents start taking us away, but Sokka and I stopped for a moment.
"The bite mark," I said to Sokka, we both nodded in agreement.
"Wait! I can prove he's lying," Sokka said as he and I turned to the king, "Long Feng said he's never seen a sky bison. Ask him to lift his robe,"
"What? I am not disrobing!"
The king looks thoughtful before looking at Sokka suspiciously, Aang, Sokka, and I smile slyly and nod at each other. Aang blows a large gust of air at Long Feng's legs, lifting his robe and revealing a bite mark left by Appa.
"Right there! Appa bit him!"
"Never met a sky bison, huh?" I remarked, " That happens to be a large birth mark. Thanks for showing everyone," he said sarcastically as he pulls down his rob.
