'can everyone please leave I need a minute?',
I asked the people that assisted me in surgery, the slowly piled out of the room. Once everybody had left I walked back over to my patient, I took a deep breath bracing myself to see the face of the patient I had just lost in surgery. I pulled the white sheet back from his face,
'I-I am so sorry',
I said getting onto my knees and almost immediately started crying, I put my hand onto my chest struggling to breath slightly. I looked up slightly and saw the door open, I saw Link walk into the room,
'baby?',
Link somewhat asked, I cried even more,
'I-I failed him',
I said my voice cracking, Link quickly ran towards me and picked me up off of the ground wrapping his arms around me as I wrapped my legs around his waist,
'no you didn't y/n, you were the one that was there for him when no one else was',
Link said to me, I shook my head as I dug my head into his shoulder,
'he-he's gone',
I said crying into his shoulder, Link walked closer to the table and pulled the sheet back over his face,
