'take me off the vent',
my patient, a teenage boy said to me as I stood next to him, I nodded my head,
'are you sure?',
I asked him again looking at April who stood in the room standing opposite of me,
'yes',
The boy said to me, April nodded her head detaching the vent from him, April left the room,
'y/n',
He choked out, I leaned in closer to him,
'c-can you stay with me?',
He said moving over in the bed slightly, inviting me to get in there with him, I nodded my head,
'Of course',
I said putting a small smile on my face, I climbed into bed next to him and he immediately snuggled into me. I wrapped my arms around him, I could hear his breathing become shallow, the tears began to well in my eyes. I tried to stop my tears,
'thank you y/n',
The boy said, he slowly lost consciousness and the heart monitor slowly stopped as his heart slowed down. The machine flatlined, the tears started streaming down my face,
'y/n?',
I heard someone say entering the room. It was Link,
'baby he's gone',
Link said to me walking next to the bed. I nodded my head, Link picked me up off of the bed and I removed my hands from the boy and put them around Link's neck,
