'so I need to tell you something because I can't tell the person that I actually need to because I'm too scared and you're like the person that is closest to them',
I said extremely quickly as I paced around the room, Meredith quickly got up and grabbed my shoulders trying to calm me down,
'y/n breathe and then say that all again because I didn't understand a word of it',
Meredith said smiling at me, I took a deep breath, I turned away from Mer,
'I need to tell you that I'm pregnant because I'm too scared to tell Alex and you're his best friend',
I said tears beginning to form in my eyes, Mer quickly pulled me into a hug. I slowly began to fall to the ground in Mer's arms,
'it's okay y/n',
Mer said comforting me, she let go and helped me sit up leaning me against the wall so I was facing her. She looked directly into my eyes,
'you need to tell him y/n, I know you haven't been together for that long but he loves you',
Mer said sitting beside me pulling me into her side, I calmed myself slowing my breathing,
'Mer I don't know what to do',
I said looking up at her, Mer rubbed her arm up and down my side, she slowly began to smile at me, I looked at her confused,
' I'm essentially going to be an Aunt',
Mer said quite excitedly making me smile, I heard someone fiddle with the door, Mer looked at me as if to say should we moved but I didn't. I just sat there Mer pulled me in tighter as she realized who it was, I looked up and saw it was Alex,
'are you okay baby?',
Alex asked, I dropped my head and began to cry once again. Mer leaned into me,
'it's gonna be okay',
She whispered before backing away from me, Alex replaced her but he pulled me up and engulfed me in his arms allowing me to wrap my legs around his waist as I cried into his shoulder. He sat on the couch as Mer slowly left the room,
'shhhh it's okay baby',
Alex whispered in my ear still having no idea what was going on. I calmed myself down beginning to breathe slowly,
'I'm sorry, I'm sorry Alex',
I said softly, he pulled away and looked at me confused,
'whatever happened it's okay I love you, you just need to tell me what's happened',
Alex said giving me a small smile, I looked up hoping to stop my tears. I took a deep breath and then finally looked at him,
'I'm pregnant',
I said softly, Alex bought me in to a tighter hug. I began to cry once again,
'sorry',
I said as I cried into his shoulder, he pulled away again,
'don't apologise, we've got this. You know I've always wanted to be a dad not this soon but the fact that it's with you is even better',
Alex said as he began to wipe the tears from my face, a small smile appeared on my face, Alex began to laugh,
'Mer is probably so stoked that she's gonna be an Aunt'
