𝙿𝙰𝚁𝚃 1Long after Ally had fallen asleep on the Harrington's living room couch, Nancy left the comfort of Steve's bedroom to head home. The girl knew that her mom would be suspicious about why she was getting home so late and Nancy wanted to do her best avoid any form of awkward conversation with her mom. It definitely didn't help knowing that when she got to school the next day, Barb would be undoubtedly mad and disappointed with Nancy for ditching her to do exactly what she said she wouldn't do.
As the brunette made her way out the back door, she caught sight of something that made her wince. On the living room couch, huddled up under a large duvet, was Ally Harrington. Her messy hair splayed out all over her pillow and tear tracks staining her face. Nancy felt a twinge of guilt sneak up on her, knowing that her nighttime activities with Steve were probably the reason behind Ally having to sleep on the couch. The tear tracks and dark circles under the twelve-year-olds eyes just made it all the more worse and reminded Nancy of what the girl - and Mike - were going through.
With a sigh, Nancy casted one last glance toward the sleeping girl on the couch before walking off into the night and preparing to face her disappointed - and not to mention extremely worried - mother.

On Wednesday morning, Ally wished she could've slept in but she knew that El, Mike, Dustin and Lucas would be expecting to see her before school to discuss their plans. So the girl, begrudgingly, got up off the couch to go back up to her room and change for school.
The events of the previous day had hit Ally like bus. Her head still ached and her whole body was still in shock from the effects of the unsettling feeling she'd gotten the previous night. It was so bad that Ally couldn't even pull her hair into those same two messy braids - that she'd consistently worn everyday for years- purely because her hands just couldn't stop trembling; no matter how hard she'd tried to make them stop. Dropping the locks of hair with a frustrated huff, Ally grabbed a spare pair of clothes and stuffed it into her backpack, just in case she wanted to stay at Mike's again that night.
Once she was dressed and ready for school, Ally rushed out of her room, making a beeline for the stairs but in her mad rush she just ended up slamming face first into Steve's body. Ally's forehead connected with her brother's stomach causing her to fall back and land on the floor with a thud.
"Ow," she groaned before opening her eyes to reveal her brother looking down at her with an expression of annoyance.
"Watch where you're going, dumbass!" He exclaimed rubbing the spot she'd hit.
Shaking off the surprise that he was actually awake so early, Ally glared and got up off the floor.
"Whatever," she huffed out, adjusting the strap of her bag, "I'm going to school," she informed half-heartedly before trying to push past him but the older boy was a lot taller and stronger and stopped her.
