Upstairs, on a dingy bed that she shared with El, Ally had the best night sleep ever. It was the longest she'd slept in ages. In fact, the only reason she even woke up was because El and Kali had decided that she'd slept long enough.
"ALLY!" They yelled right in her ears.
"Wha! Wha- whoaaa!"
Ally woke with a jolt, sitting upright so fast that she rolled off her side of the bed and landed face-down in the floor. El and Kali laughed as Ally groaned and slowly picked herself up.
"Whoa- what? What happened? Who died?" She questioned rapidly, her voice raspy and tired and her eyes still half shut as she rubbed the sleep from them.

"We need more money, Kal. I can't keep eating this garbage," Axel the annoying Mohawk man complained, his Mohawk a different colour than it was yesterday.
"This is Axel," Kali introduced.
"Spider hater?" El recalled.
A couple of laughs were let out from the others as Axel smiled sarcastically.
"Yes," Kali confirmed with a teasing smile in Axel's direction, "Spider hater,"
"This is Dottie, our newest," she said, referring to the lady with the big blue bow on her that twirled a piece of her colourful hair around her finger.
Dottie smiled and wiggled her fingers to wave at them.
"Like you, she just left home,"
"You mean the loony bin," Axel interjected.
Kali ignored the comment and continued with her introductions, gesturing over to the lady with the Afro that sat at the table, drawing something.
"Mick, our eyes, our protector,"
Mick nodded subtly at them in greeting before going back to her drawing.
And finally, the big, intimidating - yet quiet - muscle man that seemed to be ten times the size of Ally and El, came over to them.
