𝙿𝙰𝚁𝚃 1After they'd finally calmed down and hauled themselves out of the pool, Ally and El were each wrapped in a towel and guided to the bleachers. The sisters sat beside each other. El rested her head on Mike's shoulder, her eyes closed tiredly. Meanwhile, Ally sat, weakly munching on one of Dustin's Three Musketeers bars as she rested her head on Lucas's shoulder; and surprisingly, the girl didn't look like total shit. Sure, her hair was kinda wet and scraggly-looking and her eyes were red-rimmed but, all things considered, she could've looked worse.
Desperately trying to keep herself from picturing poor Barb's rotting corpse over and over again, Ally absentmindedly fiddled with one of the zippers on her leather jacket that lay draped over her exposed legs as she listened to Dustin rave about how awesome she and El were.
As the seconds following Joyce and Hopper's departure ticked by, the party began to worry about the two teenagers that were meant to be with them. After several minutes of paitently awaiting their arrival, Mike had had enough.
The boy stood up abruptly and marched out of the gym, calling out for Jonathan and his sister. Alas, his search was in vain; for the parking lot was empty and the pair were nowhere to be found.
"They're gone," Mike informed through gritted teeth.
"What?" Lucas questioned.
"Nancy and Jonathan," Mike clarified, "His car's gone,"
"They're probably just sucking face somewhere," Dustin reasoned.
"Behind my brother's back?!" Ally exclaimed, suddenly feeling a little more awake and a lot more defensive.
"Gross!" Lucas complained.
"No. No way!" Mike defended, his face contorted with disgust.
"Did they go with the chief?" Dustin asked as if Mike knew.
"I don't know!"
"No," El spoke up.
Curiously, Ally and the boys turned to El.
"What?" Mike asked, "Did you see them? Do you know where they went?"
"Yes," El answered.
"Where?" Ally asked, leaning forward towards her sister, "Where did they go?"
El looked from Ally to Mike, her gaze lingering as she momentarily hesitated before disclosing the pair's whereabouts.
"Demogorgon," she revealed.
Ally bit down on her lower lip, officially worried for her friends' older siblings - and not to mention preparing herself for the inevitable debate that was bound to ensue between the boys.
