Ally Harrington, the adoptive little sister of the famous Steve Harrington, wasn't anything like her brother.

If Ally had learnt anything from that early Halloween morning, it's that you'll never know true confusion until you find yourself, with your eyes half closed and your brain still fogged from sleep, helping your sister cut eye-holes out of a perfectly good white sheet at the crack of dawn.
The Harrington siblings had spent the previous night at Hopper's cabin, just as they had done so many times over the last year. As usual, Steve would crash on the slightly too-small couch in front of the TV while Ally and El squished themselves onto El's bed where they'd do more giggling than sleeping.
After taking turns to shower and get ready for work and school, Hopper and the Harringtons situated themselves in the kitchen for breakfast. It was all strangely domestic. Hopper, the grumpy Chief of Police with absolutely no real relation to the Harringtons, at the stove making them breakfast and giving Steve some life advice while Steve and Ally, one popular high school jock and one stoic superpowered delinquent/nerd-in-disguise, sat helping each other with homework as they merrily munched down on the food that Hopper had made for them.
"Hey, don't forget, it's your turn to do the groceri-," Hop reminded the siblings as he moved to put some more food on the table only to be startled by the sudden appearance of El with a white sheet draped over her.
"Oh, Jesus!" Hop exclaimed in surprise, making Steve and Ally snicker quietly - which unsurprisingly earned them a silencing glare from the older man.
"Ghost," El said.
"Yeah, I see that,"
"Halloween," El added, hoping he'd catch on to what she was suggesting.
"Sure is," Hopper said in a sing-song manner, "But right now, it's breakfast, okay? Come on, let's eat before they leave for school,"
"They wouldn't see me," El reasoned.
"Who wouldn't see you?" Hopper asked, moving to sit at the table.
"The bad men,"
"What are you talking about?" He questioned, pretending like he didn't know what she was insinuating.
