Chapter 39

Halle POV

Ashley shot her dead, we all helped and burried kitty. Then walked up to the cabin and burned are clothes and spent the night there. At 7:00 am we all woke up. Everyone was quiet nobody said a word and I didn't expect anyone to, we just murdered two people?! Not just two strangers. We murdered people's parents. I look over at Rian well she's walking out of the bathroom and takes a sit on the bed to put her shoes on "we can't tell anyone about this, it was a bad dream well just forget it." "Rian this isn't something we can just forget. We messed up, but you got a point we don't tell anyone" I said, Ashley nodded. We all walked out and got into the car and again the whole car ride was silent. All I was thinking was *how am I supposed to tell my mom the I murdered somebody's parents? I SHOT SOMEONE?!* I still will never ever forget it. Ashley pulled over to get gas, she got out opened the gas cap and started to fill it up, she was zoned out just looking at the small rock Infront of her. I look out my window and stare at all the cars driving on the road. the car door opens and Ashley gets back it and starts the car, pulls out and drives down the street.

A while later Ashley parks in front or Perry's house, we all grab are stuff and walk up to the door Ashley looked over at Rian "why did you lie about where you were staying? You clearly weren't at Halles, where did you really stay?" She said, "because I didn't want to intrude you guys, perry already had a full house, I stayed at the abandoned building by the park, and I already know what your gonna say were you family you can't intrude us." I looked over at Rian did she really think that she would intrude us? I'm 100% sure we would have not minded if she stayed with us at Perry's house "Rian your scared us so bad I- when we saw you were in Arizona we had to come get you." I said. I took a deep breath and we all walked through the front door, everyone was sitting on the couch there heads all turn and look at us, perry jumped up and hugged Ashley, and of course lyle run up to me and grab me "baby I missed you so much, I love you.." he whispered in my ear. I kissed him on the check "I love you so much I can't even tell you. I'm glad I'm back" I walk over and hugged perry Erik and Mahalia. Then lyle took me by the hand and pulled me into the corner "was volleyball really a whole day long? And Ashley's legs not broken? And Rian's back? What happened?" "Baby it was an overnight tri- ." "But you guys both said that Ashley's leg was broken." "We lied about that, because Erik called us right when we were getting the group surprise..." "oh okay, I'm sorry I was just so worried you know me..." he said well his hands were holding my face "I know you, and I'm so sorry I knew you were worried because of what happened last time, but you don't have to be anymore because I'm here." He pulled me towards him and moved his hands down to my waste and kissed me on the lips, I moved my hands to his face and kissed him back, "let's go, watch the movies!!" I said well pulling lyles hand and running towards Ashley. I looked over and saw Rian's and Erik standing in the kitchen, Rian was wraped around him, they looked back at us and we all laugh, Eriks face turned red "YOU GOT TO BE KIDDING ME" everyone's head turned to look at ashley "SCHOOLS STARTING UP TMR" we all groaned. We watched a few movies. Then all of us went to bed. I cuddled up against Lyle and he wrapped his hands around me and we fell asleep. In the morning we all wake up and see Rian and Erik cuddling together "everyone get your cameras" Ashley whispered, everyone got there phones out and started to take pictures of them "we don't want to miss this, so take a lot" Lyle said, "wait I'm gonna grab a pen.." perry said. We all let out a little laugh, perry came back and Drew on Eriks face. A seconds later Rian opened one eye and looked over at Erik "Oh come on who did this.." "awww is little Eriks girlfriend upset?" We all said "I'm about to punch you guys in the face" all of us ran back out to the pool and Rian followed us. "Haha nice guys." Rian was about 4 feet away from the pool, because she knew one of us were gonna push her in, Erik ran behind Rian and picked her up and jumped in the pool, Rian yelled at Erik "I was trying to help you?!?" Erik said with a small giggle, then they kissed I- anyways Once we all got into the pool "hey we should play that game we're you sit on people shoulders?" I said "Oh yeah that would be fun!" Mahalia said. I got on lyles Rian got on Eriks Ashley got on Perry's and Mahalia got on Matthews, "CHICKEN FIGHT!!!" We pushed each other's off so many times Intell the boys yelled "BOYS ON THE GIRLS SHOULDERS!!" They got on are shoulders and oh my it was hard but we did the chicken fights for SOO long but I was SOOO happy more happy then I have been and I just forgot about what I did for a few minutes it was like it got pushed to the back or my head.

After the pool party Ashley ordered some pizza and we all ate I talked to Mahalia just about some random things you know like about shopping and stuff "so yeah it would be cool to race cars." "Yeah that would be awesome" yeah like shopping and stuff. Mahalia got up to grab a drink so I went to talk to Rian "so.... you and Erik how's that going?!" She rolled her eyes "it's the second kiss" I said Rian started to walk away "okay fine...is he a good kisser at least?" Rain stoped walking and looked over at me "yes he is a good kisser" she smile so hard and then walked away. I laughed everyone was talking to each other so I just grabbed a drink and sat down on the bench behind me and went on my phone I look up and I see Erik Lyle and Ashley crying and hugging, once I looked at them I remembered what had happened the night before and I reimagined it, I couldn't stop thinking about me pulling the trigger I dropped my phone. I tried to pick it up but my hands wouldn't move a tear fall from my eye. Mahalia ran over to me "hey you alright what happened?" I wiped the tear from my eye and grabbed my phone off the floor I looked over to Mahalia "yeah I'm fine I just remembered something." Her face looked worried but there was no way I could make up a lie. So I got up and grabbed another slice of pizza, Lyle walked up behind me and Hugged me from the back and pointed and whispered "a guess we get to watch the sunset aswell" after the sunset was over everyone walked inside and talked like we always do when it hit 10:00 pm we headed up to are rooms. I was laying in bed with Lyle and he was telling me all his favorite memories we both laughed, Lyle looked over at me and ran his finger down my nose "good night my sweet little cupcake, I love you" "I love you too baby" he leaned over and switched off the lights.

A few hours later I woke up in a cold sweat and looked at the alarm clock and it read:
3:30 am
I felt sick to my stomach so I went downstairs to grab a cup of water, I drank all the water and zoned out Intell I heard something "hey beautiful, why are you up so early?" I looked over and it was Ashley all the worry left my body I took a deep breath "I had a wried feeling I was going to throw up" I felt really dizzy "same, wanna go for a walk to start the day off?" Ashley said well putting on her shoes "yes please" that meant so much to me that Ashley asked, we just needed some time alone to talk about some things. We walked out of the house and went over to the beach took off are shoes and sat on a log, about and hour later we got up and walked back, and opened the door Perry and erik where in the kitchen talking, Erik never failed to make all of us laugh he always impersonated someone and It was always horrible but SO funny at the same, everyone started coming down and ate breakfast, we all got are shoes on and walked out of the house I drove to school with Lyle he started the car and pulled out "so did you get up at like 5:00 am because I always have to pull you out of bed" he said well laughing I looked over at him "well 3:30 am me and ash went in a walk just to clear are minds!" We got to school and went to are classes, "okay class today we will be taking a Quick quiz only 3 questions!" My teacher walked though the desks and handed all of us are quiz's a few minutes later the intercom goes off "halle stalder Rian Reyes, and Ashley menendez please come to the office." I can't even tell you anytime I go to the office I think it cool, but what I did a few days ago made me worry whenever my name got called. my teacher looked at me "halle Rian and Ashley! They called you, go to the office!" I slowly stood up and walked, I look over to Rian and Ashley  we take a deep breath "so what do you think this is for?" "I hope it's not for you know.." we get to the door and I can't even belive my eyes.

Lyles POV

So halle came up to my and told me she was going to volleyball with Ashley, I thought I was kinda wried that she had a bag... but oh well maybe it's for something important. When they left the rest of us just sat on the couch and talked for awhile, it's was getting really late, so Erik decided to call Them, I knew volleyball did not last that long "oh come on pick up?!" Erik said, "hey buddy, what's up" "where are you guys?" I was sitting behind Erik, and I sure halle has mentioned how worried I get over small things, so that makes me over protective aswell "oh..Umm Ashley broke her leg so we're at the hospital" deep in my gut I felt like that was a lie "I swear halle if you don't come home I will get you myself-." Then halle hung up erik stood up "come on lyle you don't have to be like that, I mean I'm worried as well but we know where they are and there safe and that's all that matters." He walked into the kitchen. Perry came walking down the stairs "hey who was lyle yelling at?" "Oh uh Ashley broke her leg so she's at the hospital, and Lyle was yelling at halle to come home." Perry was shocked his face looked like he had just got hit in the head with a rock "oh...."
"Yeah I know crazy right?!" I said, then walked to my bedroom and got out a book and read *should I text her? No.....I'm gonna annoy her, I know she's safe atleast.* I thought, so instead I just watched some tv.

Awhile later

I went downstairs and saw Perry and Erik just doing there stupid impressions, they do them all the time there funny! just old and annoying. The door opens I see the girls, I see my baby and I run up to her and grab her "I missed you so much" "I missed you to Im glad I'm back." She kissed me and we had a small Conversation, something seemed a little off but I really didnt think about it at all.
