He Stopped Loving Him Today

1960's New York City, USA

"Where did you say the party was at again?" The handsome man driving asked his friend who is in the back seat with his date.

His name is Kim Seokjin and he is on a double date with his best friend Jeon Jungkook. Their dates are two friends that they met while they stopped in at the restaurant they were waitressing at.

They were very nice, respectable and pretty young women. Just like society tells them they should be with.

"I think it's in the village. Let me check the address."

While he searched for the piece of paper he wrote the address on, his date asks him, "We're going to Greenwich village? Isn't that where there are alot of weird people?"

Jungkook looks at her and wants to roll his eyes, but knows that isn't something she'd appreciate. So he smiles and tells her, "Yes, why? Are you scared?"

She shakes her head and replies, "N-no.. I'm not. I just heard all kinds of things about that area. But as long as I have you by my side then I know I'll be safe."

Jungkook then gives Jin the address to the party and they soon arrive right on time.

They walk in holding hands with their dates, not sure of what to expect.

As they walk in several people turn to look at them, and some think they are an odd group to be in this type of party.

They walk further in and finally see their friendly coworker who invited them.

When he sees them he walks over to them and says, "Hey guys! I'm so glad you made it. I honestly didn't think y'all would come because of.. Well, you know.. but I'm glad you did."

Jin and Jungkook both knew that their friend was gay and wasn't shy about letting people know. He's had lots of people taunt him and be cruel to him at work, but they got to know him and know that he's a good person. They don't hold his sexual orientation against him.

"We just wanted a change in our usual Friday night Hobi. That's all." Jin explained.

They were all then introduced to each other and started drinking. The girls hung close to each other, wary of all the strange looking people.

They saw a very beautiful lady walk by who was dressed in a black gown and had a blonde beehive hairdo. Her makeup was flawless and they were so impressed.

When she walked by them again, one of the girls stopped her and told her, "I love your makeup. You look beautiful."

The lady responded happily with a deep male voice, "Thank you honey, I worked alot on it so would hope I turn some heads."

The girls were surprised to find out that she was a transgender and they gasped in shock.

She laughed at them and said, "What's the matter sweetie? You thought only you were allowed to be this pretty?"

She then walked away, laughing along the way.

While Jin and Jungkook were standing around talking with Hobi, they were introduced to some of his friends.

The one who stood by his side and looked at them both in a distrustful manner was named, Yoongi. They could understand his apprehension about them. No doubt they face abuse in their everyday lives.

After a few minutes, a very free spirited blonde came into the room and lit up the room with his brilliant smile.

"Hobi-ah! I'm here bitch. Don't cry anymore."

Hobi pulled him into a hug and walked him back towards where Jin and Jungkook were.

"Jimin! I'd like you to meet my straight friends from work. Remember I told you about them? This is Kim Seokjin, and he is Jeon Jungkook."
