Tae drove them to a nice, quiet restaurant. They were seated at a small table with privacy. They ordered their drinks and sat back to enjoy them.

"I'm so glad that you said yes tonight. You have no idea how long I have struggled, trying to get the nerve to ask you out."

"Really? But you seem so calm and easy going at work. I figured you were always that way."

Tae chuckles and replies, "I'm completely different dealing with work. My uncle has always taught us to strive to be the best. So I can be ruthless when I need to be."

He then reaches his hand out across the table to grab Jins hand. Then caresses his finger along his knuckles.

"But when it comes to matters of the heart, I'm not so confident. Especially when its someone I really like."

Jin smiles and asks, "So you're in like with me?"

Tae laughs and replies, "Yes, very much so."

Jin blushes but he then leans closer and says, "I really like you too Taehyung."

They then spent the next hour or so chatting about all sorts of things.

Then Tae decided to ask him about Jungkook.

"Jin, I've been meaning to ask you for a while now, but I just couldn't find the right opportunity. What exactly happened between you and Jungkook?"

Jin's smile was wiped off his face and he sighed.

"I don't really know, to tell you the truth. We were together since our freshman year. And about a month or so before we graduated he started to act weird.

He wouldn't return my texts and stuff like that. It turns out he was already seeing someone new. Before he even broke up with me.

He didn't even finish off the school year. He is on a long vacation with his new boyfriend and his family. None of us have seen or spoken to him since."

Tae listened to him and wondered what the hell was wrong with his ex-best friend. He had an amazing boyfriend and took him for granted.

"I'm really sorry to hear about that. But, I hope that you will forget about all the heartache he caused you. And you can move on with someone who knows a good thing when he sees it, and will appreciate every second he has with you."

Jin nodded and smiled.

"I hope that you won't turn out like him. I know we haven't known each other that long, but I really like you. If you led me on, I would probably turn into a bitter person after. And maybe hurt you physically." He ends with a giggle.

Tae gulps and takes a drink. Jin continues laughing.

"So, you moved to the states years ago, right?"

"Yes, my father passed away in an accident and my mother couldn't recover. I guess Joonie and I were a handful for her and she sent us off to stay with her brother."

"That must've been a very difficult time for you. To suddenly be without your parents and then move to a strange place. Where everyone is so different from you."

"It was at first. But I was lucky to have my brother with me through it all. I really missed my mother and my friends.

Back then, Jungkook and I were inseparable and it was hard not having him around anymore." Tae responded.

"I remember he used to talk about you alot when we first got together. He really missed you too." Jin tells him.

"I don't even know when I will see him again. Or what he will say when he finds out that I am talking to you now."
